was pretty sick over the last 2 days, so painted a battle wagon : O!
And of course a battle wagon is only as strong as the mek who, errr.... steers it!

I've also been doing some kitbashing with the meganobs to breath some life into the old figures, plus I love the new plastic nobs but dont have a unit of regular nobs (BOOO, wtb: feel no pain!).
And finally, painted these a while back, thought I'd share : D

Man, that battle wagon is really nice. The blue and yellow bits stand out from the perfectly simple, yet amazing metal. And the Big Mek is just stunning. I really mean it. But what are you to expect from the same lad who made them wonderful pre-heresy EC? Can't wait to see theme Meganobs done!

Striking Tigers must die
some nice orks there and i like what you've done with the meganobz. Such simple conversions and yet works really well.
The burna extension on badrukk is rather snazzy too, not so keen on badrukks lipstick though, sorry!
Orky plog of Orkinessdon't you know? Fantasy armor magically shrinks down to bikini size when it's worn by a buxom woman?
Plog of non true-scale post-heresy marines
yaaaaaaaaaaaaay!! Swedish orks
really love the colors and you have to fix a picture of all those nice orks in one shot.
please check out my cities of death IG log http://www.warseer.com/forums/showth...21#post3194621(now featuring my titan project)
The fact that no Space Marine has ever officially died of old age doesn't really prove anything. Odds are pretty good that no mayflies have ever died of gunshot wounds, either. That doesn't mean they're immune, it means it's never come up.
Seconded, but my word, keep this kind of work up and I may just forgive you. I love the Badrukk conversion, extremely Bad Moonish. I guess you need a mek with all those Kans. Meganobs are promising too, are they going to have the gobs put on?
The liberal application of blue is unique, it really works, but Freud would say you have a subconsious obsession with Deathskulls.
I gave you swedish orks, you give me the Swedish womens vollyball team!
Sounds like a fair trade to me ;D!
@ BTZ
I'm thinking I probably wont put the gobs on, they actually look a little dated compared to the new little iron jaws, ive been umming and ahhing about it, but I'm actually preferring the look of them off.
fantastic scheme and love the battlewagon, how do you paint your yellow and blue please?!
many thanks in advance!
thanks! - love the colours on the battlewagon so i'm gonna attempt emulation - how did you do the majority of the black/ grey?
Interesting take on thze metallics. It looks great though.
cracking,
many thanks, gonna try and get my koptas and battlewagon done - may even try doing a blog!
I should take some pics of some other stuff I've done over the last couple of weeks, but I finished up this test meganob, and have started the yellow on 3 others for a unit that will be 8 strong in total.
The yellow hilights are a bit extreme for now, I went a stage too far, I intend to tone it back a little, its shown me that the unit doesnt look over powering with that much yellow on it though, which was the purpose of the test figure :)

As always, the miniature looks wonderful, but I have to concur with you:
the yellow is definately too bright. Maybe some shading could help? I don't know if you mind using washes, but some gryphonne sepia in the recesses of yellow armor-parts worked wonders on my Bad Moons. The yellow hilights are a bit extreme for now, I went a stage too far, I intend to tone it back a little
These are horrible. You better just box them up and send them to me so I can dispose of them good and proppa.![]()
