The Official Infinity Thread

RIght, Aurelian had a good point about an official Infinity Thread not having the first ten pages bad-mouthing the game, so here we go!

All things Infinity! A place to moan, cry, bitch and get your Infinity fix on Warseer! (good for if the site ever has problems again!).

I'll start the ball rolling. New releases today!

The excellent Mirage 5 Team, now that's what a Dog Warrior should look like!
Karakuri! We've been waiting a long time to see this one and it's awesome!
Suryat with Multi Rifle. About time! I was a bit worried to see he was only equiped with a pistol, but luckily, he has an alt. arm.
Crazy Koalas! They hug you then go Boom! The Hunter looks cool too.
And the Swiss, a nice, well sculpted HI, puts female Yu Jing HI to shame!

The new Dog Warrior from the Mirage team is ******* ridiculous. Just pure awesomeness. I also really like the Karakuri and I'm glad I sorta started Yu Jing before the Aragato and this "girl" came out.

While I'm a huge Morat fan. I'm not really digging the pistol. I too am glad there is an additional arm.

Why is it that the ladies are the only ones carrying the HMG? I can only think of one male HMG mini, and that's the original Zahnshi one. I'm not complaining about the looks of the female figures, but I was hoping to get a Sineater, the male heavy weapons specialist, not another Moira (or does this mean there are heavier weapons yet to be released).

STILL haven't been given access to the Forum, so i've given up for the time being. Having fun with my CA though, i've finished all of my work for Uni until mid January, so i've got a bit of time to spend on these. Slightly disappointed at the size of the Vector Warrior though, hes a bit smaller than a Morat.

Hey RB666, you can’t have spaces or any characters in your user name on the Infinity site, I don’t think you can even use an underscore.

If we want to do a little local Warseer marketing for our fave Infinity (let’s be honest, we’re not pulling the wool over anybody’s eyes! ) how about some battle reports or a wip thread over on the project forum. I’ve got a ton of stuff coming for Christmas and I’ll be working on the cutter as soon as I get my little grubby hands on it!

I honestly can't decide between this month and last month for the best release, but, I think the Mirage 5 team was supposed to be released last month, in which case, November would've been a clear winner.

The male Hsien and Invincibles have HMGs. As does the Aquila Guard.

Love the Ariadna stuff. The Maasai hunter is a cool idea, but his mini, while well-sculpted, seems a little plain jane to me. He doesn't look much different bog standard Alguacile, sadly.

Maybe the Swiss Guard with the HMG will make more people use Swiss Guard in their armies.

Karakuri is just pure win, like all YJ minis recently seem to be (wish they'd resculpt the Nomads to the same standard).

Anime is full of "chix with guns." It's hardly anything new and it's not anything unique to anime, though - Lara Croft for instance. Or the fact there's a video called "Bikini Girls With Machine Guns" (and not the song named after it).

CB might be overdoing it a bit, but I suspect it's fan-service.

I just love the slightly OTT aesthetic of the game, though the guns really need some work outside of Ariadna.

Since you guys would probably know, is there anywhere to get infinity at better prices (I.E. better than thewarstore etc.) I need lots of mini's for various reasons (mostly for my Tau army...) and can't afford the steep prices and get the quantities I need...

MULTI rifle clad Suryat is up! Pictures take from Angel's blog. That model just got a whole lot more awesome! I might be buying two, and a second HMG Suryat for some converting! In either case, I'm glad CB finally released this guy. His MULTI Rifle pose is great, very good for a Lt. but I'd like to see the next Morat have a dynamic pose like the Rasyat, charging forward into battle.

Not sure where you could find cheaper stuff. I think 10% off is the best you're likely to find online. Arcane do that, good if you're in the UK and maybe europe, not sure about NA though.

Dao Fei HMG is definitely a female. A damn cool one at that.

I love the new Suryat, the pose manages to convey its total arrogance toward its completely unworthy prey. Its stance and facial expression are perfect. The MULTI rifle arm version is pretty good but the pistol wielding one just looks so bad ass as it is.

This is certainly one of the best overall releases of the year (woot for the Karakuri).
