So.....the jagged part is the bottom of the lower jaw? Or it's the bottom of the upper jaw and the lower jaw is covered with the beard? Some of the artwork seems to imply that the jagged part is their chin, covered with their beard, but the models don't really translate this idea.
It's the one thing that works against Morats for me.

But it can't be! That means their mouths are always full of beard!
Hmm.....I'm hoping Interruptor or someone will give me a Studio-info answer once the boards are up. But for now, I suppose I'll go with their mouths are the jagged line.

god, man, go watch the pics in the book:P. suprisingly, most DON'T have beard right under the mouth, it's only the models that are done this way. no idea why the sculptors decided morat don't need lower jaw(or they have it terribly retracted) tbh.

One of the Djan's is actually a Lt. but i didn't want to buy the starter box just to get him with a standard rifle so i used a second HMG Djan instead.

Yes, but now there's more.![]()
Hi all, shame about the offiical site still being down, they really need to sort out their provider and their forum software (probably the worst I've come across for years !). In an effort to spread the love about Infinity I have started my first ever Blog over in the Science Fiction Painting area I think this might be a link to it . . .

Anyway, let me know what you think when you get a chance and any feedback is most appreciated as I am very new to all this.
Thanks
Nephilim
Nephilim: i'v heard (from the polish sub-site admin) that they'r currently trying to do just that, and it's a matter of time till they find new provider. hopefully i ain't letting any big secret here
i seeYes, but now there's more.i like the scheme, really non-standard. you plan on adding any police/swat decals on them? Also, is that GF9's atumn flock on their base? how do you feel about it after use? i tried the flock mix on another model(the Toad shaman in the aurlock gallery), but in the end got so pissed with the results i threw it out and stuck to sand+bushes+grass basing

No need to get annoyed Poko, you should know it's me who tends to ask these questions on the main forums (which are back up!).

I've added a couple but they are really small. it's not like there are a ton of scale police decals for 28 mm laying around.
Some if it is, most of the GF9 stuff was for my SOB bases, what i had left i mixed in with some fine brown gravel. i'm actually pretty happy with the quality of the GF9 stuff, it was pretty good quality for flock. Also, is that GF9's atumn flock on their base? how do you feel about it after use?
Most of the time i look for flock that makes a good contrast to make the model stand out more or accent it depending on my goal. in this case it was all about contrast.

dunno, maybe it's something wrong i do with it, when i tried applying it(and don't get me wrong, i love the rest of GF9 basing materials) it looked like a whole lot of dustballs on the base><

Thanks guys. I decided with a super bold scheme for the armored troopers and the ones deemed cannon fodder would be red shirts.
I have 3 basic troops that are mostly red and the bikers suits are primarily red. I wanted 2 distinct feels for the elements of the army and the winter troops are no exception. Does weather even play a role in the game? I'm pretty dense as to the rules but like with most games, the actual scheme you go for never actually effects the game.
well, yeah, there is a table at the end of the book that shows what effects what "extreme" types of weather and terrain have, but no, you don't gain -3BS for camo paintjob![]()

Now that I think about it, do orks still go faster if they're painted red?
Back on topic, is there a paper terrain site for Infinity style urban terrain? I would love to do an urban street table for all scifi games.
Your guys are looking good!
There was one time I forgot to move my Eldar scouts for two rounds just because they were blending in so well with the terrain that I just forgot about them.
WorldWorks Games makes paper terrain that a lot of us are using (Urban Mayhem & Mars Station). There is a huge compiled sticky list of terrain over on the Infinity forum in the buildings section.
