The thing to remember about infinity is that all armies are viable and every faction can make just about any type of force. yes some do favor a certain play style but it is not required to be successful. the big thing that should draw you to a faction is firstly the models and secondly the fluff.
For me i was sold on haqqislam because i loved the look of the djanbazan model and the mughariba TAG(spider tank WOOT!). the more i learned how to play them the more i enjoyed the as the army that likes to get back up.
Oops, forgot to add yesterday's Warmill PUP review.

Much more involved construction and it's not snap-fit, but it makes the Sarissa Pod look out of scale and low on detail. On the other hand the Sarissa Pod is cheaper.

Nice review man!
How are you getting your remote to stick to the side of the MDF?
I think a bad negative for Infinity is that on the broad/long side there is little to no cover, I see a whole lot Scarface style knee-capping going on unless your getting a LOF block at an oblique angle. You would either have to put something under it or build up other scenery on the sides. Just my 0.02.
The Remote has magnets in the base and the wood is just thin enough that a big pile of magnets placed on the other side of the wall is enough to hold it all up in the air.
I assume you mean the Sarissa pod? The Warmill one has the big legs to hide behind.

Yes, now that I go back and look, both of the Warmill buildings do not block LOF on both of their short and long axis. If you have a figure lie prone they could clean up.
Don't get me wrong, they are really sweet, but if I'm dropping some big coin on buildings I want them to provide lots & lots of cover.![]()
Just use some of the offcuts to add some LOF-blocking sections to the bottom; job done. Alternatively, use the space to store canisters, crates, spare tyres, old bicycles ... the sort of crap that builds up under caravans and sheds.![]()
In case you missed it, there's a new update for Army Infinity out and it includes an updated unit entry for the Jotum, bringing it in line with the model.

The HGL has been replaced with a Heavy Flamethrower and DEP and the PH got a boost from 17 to 18 in return for a slight decrease in points.

Is the Infinity Army program official, then? Is this how they're sneaking out rules updates, or will there be an actual update to the official errata PDF?
It's official in that they get all their unit data directly from Corvus Belli. I'm expecting to see a unit PDF soon like we did for the revised Myrmidon Officer.

What unit PDF? is it a separate document, or just a stealth update of the Human Shpere - Army Lists file? It's certainly not in the Addendum or Human Sphere Addendum files, which is where it should be.
Hmm. I don't know.
When the Myrmidon Officer was released there was a PDF containing the updated profile in the downloads section but I can't see it any more.

How do I find that from the homepage?
Wait for the site to come back up and see if it's in the news links?
EDIT - it's now the first link on the front page.
