Having been a year or so since I updated my Waaagh and being that we're nearly upon a new year.....

I thought I'd start fresh with some pics of things I've been working on the past few weeks. That and a lot of the ork stuff I had has come and gone with new stuff coming in.

First up, a Stompa I've been working on for the last few days

Nice - you've got some of the really old cyboars there, along with two super cyboars.

Unfortunately there are no longer any rules for orks on boars in the current incarnation of the rules. You could try digging up the feral ork rules from 3rd ed (still technically compatible with the current edition) or you could field them as bikes with some "counts-as" (it's really too bad that GW didn't see fit to allow stripped-down warbikes without the dakkaguns option; it would have been perfect for boarboyz).

Alternatively, you could just play 2nd edition

Wow - you got a bunch there!

First pic: Left side- Current Stormboy packs. Right- Old Stormboy Packs adn the large one on top is the rokkit part for the old Pulsa Rocket. This went on a rail of sorts and there was a second part that was sheared off to represent where the rocket landed.

Second Pic:Boar Boyz (and as mentioned, the rules for them went away... sorry)

Third Pic: Various boyz here. Of note: There's a SHokk Attack Gun (that three arm, pinwheel thing - a couple of nobs in power armor, The little guy with the banner pole is Gazghkulls lucky grot Makari, I see a mek boy (with wrench) and a grabba claw for a Runtherd (that pinchy looking spiked pliers thing).

Fourth Pic:From upper left...
Wartrak w/scorcha, 2 bikers, wartrack (stock), Nezdreg (Character from 2nd)
Second row: 3 Shokk Attack Guns, I think this ones a mortar from fantasy (dwarves meyba?) and then two Wartsnogga figures. He was a Runtherder character
Thrid row: Painboy, Gashgkull, regular boy, newer zzap gun, weird boy?, painboy, and the Prospector - a Groak Morka special character

Fifth Pic: A mek boyz dream bin! It's kinda like the Eye Spy game. I spy with my little eye...

The black primed cannon thing is the old Zzap gun. The one below it with the forked spiky thing is the Lifta Droppa (cool rules). most of the rest are just cool gubbins and extras.

I'm not usually one who is into Ork stuff, but when someone indulges into armies with older stuff it's pretty damn coo!

Good luck with it, i'll be keeping a eye on it (Ignore the wtf on the top, I just wanted something with a big eye)

I'll post some progress pics in a bit. We've had 5 straight days of rain and high humidity here.....I'm hoping today I can base coat some things.

What I've built so far.

well, I'm sick with the flu today so I thought I'd try to get something done while I'm home.

Built 4 Lootas which took a bit of figuring since I'd tossed the boxes... but I got them eventually. I've got a bag of Orky type bits, cables etc somewhere that I can use to customize them some.


I'd also like to build an Ork Trukk or two today. I've raided my large Bits box and came up with this stuff (large bits means the box with "large" bits in it)



I'll be raiding the small bits boxes as I go. I can't decide if I want it to be a half track type trukk or just wheels...


as you can see, I have plenty of Wheels and Tank wheels (thats a Skortcha in the middle for scale...they are Large zip lock bags)

I'm going to do my best to update this as I go along today. My goal is to have a Trukk....or two if I'm lucky, Built and Primed by this evening.

I'm feeling too ill to continue today...but I did manage to flesh out a basic Trukk. There's a lot left to be done to make it look more Orky. Remember, I'm an Ork newb so my Mek skills are rather limited.

For an ork noob you are doing very well, you have some very creative modelling ideas and the truck looks an absolute ripper. If your vostroyans are anything to go by Ill be interested to see your painting.

I like your ideas, and perhaps you could use some of your Vostroyan stuff on your vehicles and/or even models? Perhaps your Orks are at constant war with the Vostroyans, and your Orks "borrowed" some of their stuff? And that's a great scratch-built Trukk you got there!

I will post some more pics in a bit....gotta charge the camera battery, it was near death due to the holidays.

I'm working on a magnetized Big Shoota/Rocket launcher so I can swap them out depending on what I want, or nothing at all. Also, I'm manetizing a bording plank. When that's all done up I'll make up a magnetized stikkbomb chucka, wrekin' ball, reinforced ram and possibly extra armor plates.

Pics in a bit, promise.

PS: I'm having sooo much fun making things...it may be some time before I get back to my guard. Orks are the way to go for letting your imagination run wild!

Thanks Getifa! I've primed it along with 3 bikes I built last night and 4 lootas. I wont bother with pics since it's just primed. I'll see what I can paint tonight if I don't find myself caught up making another Trukk.

yes, it's New Years Eve...and the misses and I are staying in... so I get to goof off with my Orks and have a few drinks!

Picked up a box of the New Nobz this weekend and a new BW.

I'm currently building the BW though it's slow going because I'm magnetizing a lot of things. So far, my doors all open and close.....my Prow is detachable....mostly so I can add my own deathrolla later. I'm magnetizing the weapon options right now.

I'll post some pics in a bit.

Oh... I also made another scratch built Trukk.

Got my HQ for now, a Big Mek with a KFF

and While I wait on mr Snikrot to show up in the mail....I thought I would make some Kommandos for him to lead. I've made 2 so far...


as for the other Trukk I made...well, it's not done yet but you get the idea.


I bought 2 "real" Trukks and will either build and use them or use them for parts. Also have 2 more AoBR sets of Orks on the way to me in the mail as well.
