Nope, never made it further then CCF - too scruffy. Was looking at the reemees to pay my way through Uni, but Kem came along and gave me a reason to stay.

    More sister's soon.

I need to find a way to do the vehicles though...

    OK.

    not dead.

However, both my camera and computer seem to be.

I'll try and sort some pics out somehow.

    I switched paint scheme again.
I decided to buy a GW paint, just to see how they were like to paint with (wonderful). Chose the colour without looking at the label, painted a sister up and thought, "Yes, this is just the sort of icy blue I was after."

    The paint?

    Ice Blue

I've been concentrating on getting all the girls done up with a white undercoat and the blue armour done.
As I finished all of the bolter girls off a few days ago, I spent last night doing the various mods required.
This is going to be a gmaing army, so the weapons need to be distingusiable easily.

    pics will go here:

    two bolter girls to meltas:

    two flamer girls to meltas:

three stormbolter girls to heavy flamers:

one flamer girl to heavy flamer:
(In with the granny preistess down two)

two Sister superiors to Combi-Melta and Book of St Lucius

one Sister Supeior to Veterna Celestian with bolt pistol and power weapon
    (Still no pick, nothing amazing)

Cannonnes Wenchling, Armed with jumpack, bolt pistol and blessed weapon
(No pic until assembled. not asseblem until painted)

Cannonness Bulwark, armed with Evisarator and bolt pistol
    (No pic, not assemsbled fully)

the Ninja granny Priestess, armed with shield (Power armour), Brazier of holy fire and a Bolt pistol

They've had their first game which I may write up if time permits.
I've also got the plastic and tmeplates for the vehicles, just need to get on with them once the special weps have had a coat of paint.

Re: EPIC Sisters of the Shattered Trope.

Very interesting concept you got here. i enjoy the first pic of the exorcist with the soldier holding a dynamite stick. that is hardcore.

I just started on some SoB troops and i would like to expand them as well but the only ones i found are metal and i think all of them are like this mostly. I also thought about allying them with my upcoming IG army(by making them inquisition forces).

or add them into my main army of SM. but i have to figure out all the rules for doing so.

but i am going to be following this closely*subscribing. keep it up.

ok. Pics still needed: I'll try and sort them out tonight maybe.

Progress, minimal, although I have tested a full paint up on on one girl.

    insert pic here
EDIT: Girl has been named 'Pallette'. no pic will ever be released ever. she will be repainted when the army is done.

the yellow needed two coats and the hair will need shading.
Blue wash on the armour was pointless, but worked well with the bolter.

Again, as they're a gaming army, I might try some heavy duty patch shading to give them some depth at a distance. no promises. I'm still a rtubish painter.

Game promised to an IG friend this sunday.
will need to build two rhinos, one immolator and two exorcists by then. gulp.

    may just proxy with these:

    insert pic here.

Re: EPIC Sisters of the Shattered Trope.

They look impressive ranked up like that. At this point with my own figures I'd do a wash of Vallejo Smoke or Devlan Mud in order to bring out the detail and get the shading started.

Hope the encouragement inspires more progress.

No, his model does not look better then the Forge World version. Not even close.

    brazier of holy fire?

needs the white, red, orange, dark red and black adding still.

the chain is just that with superglue.
I may end up redoing it with stiff wire (guitảr string gôod) ìf it proves too fragile

Ah, brazier of holy fire. You probably do not want to know what I thought it was then...

    Current group shot.

Pink tray in top has all the backpacks on. Was grumbling my way through them last night when remebered I have less models in army then an IG player can have in a single squad!

    Cannonness Bulwark assembled
    Cannonness Wenchling halfway there.

The unpainted metal will be two Penintent Engines

The cat in the far bottom right is holding a surprisingly useful magnifying glass.
    I love Kinder Eggs.

    Cannoness Wenchling.

Given up to the convent by her teenage mother, and named by a spiteful aunt, "Wenchling" has struggled all her life because of her name.

A daily regime of prayer and weapon-training honed the young sister and her humble piety soon brought her to the attention of her superiors.

As time passed, she slowly gained in both faith and strength, training with all who taught. Her name remained a constant reminder of her humble origins, but as she was slowly allowed more contact outside the Convent, she found others reacted differently.

When coordinating the Parmitan Suppression, more then one Imperial Officer was executed for failing to show full respect to rank and a particularly boorish Space Wolf suffered a broken arm before Cannoness Wenchling was 'transferred' away from Allied Command.

She now soars above the battlefield; carrying The Bloody Big Sword of Blessedness; bringing the Emperor's Peace to those men foolish enough to have mislaid it.

    Canoness Bulwark.

A rock of faith and good sense in the sometimes over zealous world of the Ecclisarchy, Bulwark stands as a rock in battle, a hymn on her lips and her Eviserator roaring in her hands.

She inherited her Relic Armour and cloak from Canoness Agnathea, an ex-shield maiden of Fenris. Being built rather less formidably then her predecessor, she was placed upon a strict regime of red meat and trained by hurling those who whispered in the sermon from the church.

bit more on flame to keep terribletrygon happy.
    Oily smoke still needs adding.

I've run out of things to paint so I either start shading, or find some more things to assemble:

    The Chuckle Brothers:

    Laurel:

    and Hardy:

Beautiful models, though tactically ill advised.
They're just tack glued for now, will need to disassemble and pin (about 9 pins each I think) once I'm back in the Diff.

Work on the army case will commence (once the rhinos are assembled)

ooh. I've got lots I should post.

for now: WIP armycase with painted penitent and saint for scale.

Gamewise will probably count it as a landraider so it stnads a chance of seeing regular action.

I think I'll be folowing this 'kay

    keep 'em comming
Proud enough for you to call me arrogant. Cruel enough for me to feel no grief.
Dirty enough for me to lust, leaving nothing left to trust.
Jealous enough to still feel envious. Lazy enough to sleep all day. And let my life just waste away.
Selfish enough to make you wait for me!
