We use pliers for cutting wire, thickness of stone tiles depends on which stone do you need (corner stone, window side, small gap filler...). Generally, tiles are between 1mm and 1 cm thick.

Highly inspirational. Can't wait to see your site finished. NEED that town square. Will be following this very closely.

Stone by stone......THAT is craftmanship!! I was/am VERY impressed. The stonework DOES look real. Those paving stones just cry out for a scattering of bodies. The tower's top would be a great place to store/hang those excess prisoners in need of an airing.

Hiiieeee Cpt. Drill...... Gee, sorry to hear about your fire hose nosing of your PC screen.
When I have those/these thought I MUST get them out of my head. Once I say/type and submit them, the thoughts are gone from my old grey cells.

That cat and the maiden do help to establish scale. I really, really LIKE the tower.

    Did I mention the tower??

Keep us updated on that site. I would be very interested in visiting, especially since I want to develop a bit more urban stuff for my games.

I got to say, I'm getting more impressed every time I look.

On one hand, I think you need your heads examined for doing this.

On the other hand, I wish to emulate your work, so probably I need my head examined too.

It looks absolutely stunning either way.

    Re: Building the medieval city

First of all, massive thanks to all of you for your big support!!

Our Medieval Inn is finally ready to be shown.
We didn't want to go for the massive Inn 'cause huge buildings often turn out to be useless on the battlefield.
For the base we used our Town Square.

Here is our finished model (cast in resin and painted):
Comments & criticism are more than welcome.

    Re: Building the medieval city

M7-11 said it first. Okay, make that N810.

THAT is a VERY nice model. I can see a future for your models. I suggest checking for how many 2009-10 conventions you guys can expose your products at. A goodly supply of "buy it nows" for the conventions will be a need to have.....Good luck.
