Woody's 40k Daemons army (mish mash of all 4 powers)!!!

Right, so after collecting this army for a bout a month and only really having about 2 or 3 games and painting one sqaud i thought id finally get around to posting up my progress and hopefully get motivated to do more to this army.

After all this time and only 10 plaguebearers done so far:

thanks for the comments guys, yeh i used a wash of both devlan mud and gryphonne sepia, more should be done tonight sometime, will get some work done and take pictures in a couple of days.
What with going back to school tomorrow i might not be getting much work done, except for on weekends and mondays/tuesdays, so wait till then for updates.

These are some really nice (contradiction in terms!) looking plague bearers Woody. They're very characterful, the washes have done the trick perfectly. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the rest of this army.

thanks Elazar, really simple scheme stolen from a fellow warseer-er, can't remember who it is but it's an awesome scheme that is really simple and fast.
Atm im doing some flamers, using some synergy between old and new inks/washes, mainly blue bodies with the tips of the 'legs' and arms changing into yellow, hopefully not through green but if it's unavoidable i may have to do it.

thanks mate, don't think ill get much work done on them till the weekend as im in school and have homework to do. but hopefull will get much work done on them then and maybe a start on the daemonettes.

YAY!!! i have updates for you guys...
i have gotten some work done on the tzeentch flamers, really starting to use the old school inks in tandem with the new washes, imo looks pretty cool.
But here we go:




A whole unit shot then a close up of 2 of them, not much point in going into too much detail as not much work has been done.

I'm not too sure about the yellow, im thinking about changing it to white, had to re undercoat the yellow bits white and looked really cool, but wanted the classic tzeentch colours, any ideas?
Sadly because of the amount of gaming i'v been doing i havn't done any work on them but will get some done today at my local gaming club.

Hmm I like the yellow and blue for Tzeentch but I reckon yellow and white might look cooler. Post some pics when you get any more done.

I recently pulled out my epidimius from when i did fantasy daemons (got bored after all of 5 seconds) and was wondering how i should paint him, don't want him to be exactly the same as the PBs and so was wondering how i would paint him to look like the crap daemon from Dogma?

<edit> will be finally getting some work done on the daemons tonight/tomorrow dso have no fear. Will be repainting the flamers white and blue instead of the yellow, should look much cooler.<edit>

cheers Miguell, i have gotten a bit o work done but not much, and wont be doing much work for a while as i have tonsilitus and not feeling too great atm. May get a little bit done on some of my slaaneshi stuff (fiends, the masque, daemonettes) but dunno if im up for anything yet.

it will makea change from the unsial pale flesh, though a $h!t daemon is a bit risque i think! will be interesting to see though
