those cron deamons are too cool! I presume the white on the masks of the adepts is stippled on with the new GW stipple brush?

Mr Kibbles, I've done a mini-tutoril on every model shown here. The Pontius chap can be found here:

rev, I haven't actually bought one yet. For the masks, I use a combination of sponge and whatever crappy brush is closest to me. Sponges give a nice noisy coverage, but the brush helps me get paint into awkward areas, under hoods and such.

Your conversations are truely inspirational. May I ask where you got those mechanical blade arms on the backpacks of those?
And where did you get the cables to do the dendrites on pontius' right arm?These 3 chaps are my Astartes protectors - aspiring tech priests that have sided with the Mechanicum rather than their suspicious brethren.
The pics are a bit dark, but I'll sort out some new shots soon.

The claw arms are from 'Cryx Allies Cephalyx Overlords'. I bought a pack of 3 to convert and used their robotic arms elsewhere.
Pontius' dendrites are from the Servo skull included in the Cadian Command sprues.

Lovely dark mechanicus log, can't wait to see the real engines of the dark mechanicum coming to life...btw any thoughts about recreating some of the stuff from the HH books like for example in Mechanicum or The collected visions of the Heresy?
