Some progress on my first Myrmidon Walker. I have 2 of these, utilising both Penitent Engine crew.

Excellent use of Valkyrie parts there. Is it going to be armed with any weapons?

Full gear will be:
2 Hellfire, Twin-Autocannon, Twin-Heavy Bolter.

Best Storm Raven/ Hawk I've seen so far, looks more like it's derived from the same stc as the thunderhawk than most other builds I've seen. Once again great job

Thanks tda, I purposely tried to go more for an Astartes look than 'valkyrie crashes into Land Raider' model that we're seeing a lot of. This is half the price too!

Btw in IA2 is somwhere in Inquisiton section side blueprint of some Inquisition transport made from Thunderhawk transporter, when you cut out middle section. With some tweaking it can be used as Stormraven. I think BulldogUK did something like this.

I wasn´t talking about cut resin TH, cos this is wasting money, but made it from scratch, same as did BulldogUK. TH design is primary boxy one.

I think you did a very good job at this, without making it look like a big flying box . Is it based entirely on the valkyrie kit or did you use other parts (exept from the plasticard of course) ??

The only non-Valkyrie bits are:

3 of the square slot panels from Chimera (used within my cockpit as windows)


and 2 armour plates from Chimera - albeit the old version



I may use Dozer Blade arms for the Dread grapple.

Not happy with the rear profile of the ship, but don't want to move the engines.. maybe a 2nd pair?

I think it looks fine. A second pair of engines would definitely be too much. maybe a tail fin similar to the thunderhawk?

Tail is good idea. This rudder should be bigger may be twice. How about some smaller boxes on sides of this tail base?
