legs worked out pretty well - although the chest plate seems very bare by comparison, what you planning on putting there?

I wanted a decent amount of space on there to do personal heraldry and detailing, either with brass or freehand.

The pads are Maxmini stock for now. Fluffhorn should have our own products out soon

    Re: Whitehorn's Pre-Heresy and Mechanicum

Busy time sorting all my collecting for stuff to sell!

Decided to pick up my Eldar (finally), iron out a list and sell on the rest.

    The plan:

Early Swooping Hawks, following the founding of the Warrior Path, Baharroth founds the shrine of the Swooping Hawks, incorporating his teachings from Asuryan with his own expertise.
The Swooping Hawk shrine, as I see it, is a shrine founded upon swift vengeance, taking on the aspect of the hawk. Baharroth's warriors strike their foes from above like birds of prey. The shrine is protected and maintained by a house of scholar-monks. This particularly house has had several run-ins with Dark Eldar and cults, taking on the weapons of their victims.
Wearing armour that mimics the colours of the sky, this force has stepped beyond the typical blue and grey of Terra.

    Some early WIPS:

That purple looks really sweet on the hawks. I also like your guardian conversion, looks like the kit mixes well with the dark eldar. But unless I'm msitaken you've got some from the old special weapons kit in there too, right?

BTW did you have any pics of your chaos knights?

House: Yeah, 'cause I worship Santa. Or wait, is that Satan? I always get them mixed up.

I had a selection of arms from 2nd edition Eldar. Not enough by a long shot.

I'm doing more pics and sorting tonight, so will get some of the Knights.

Too bad I've probably used all of mine on pointless conversions years ago, otherwise I'd let you have them. :-)

    Anyway, the kitbashes look great!

nice work fella, the assault walker is very dynamic and a beautiful model, i think forgeworld's subtle changes have made a massive improvement! Your guardian posing is very good to, top work on achieving so much diversity!

    The boys are back!

First 5 tactical marines for a new combat squad.

Now I need more Deathguard or MkII/III torsos. I wonder where I can get those next month

Seems like forever since I posted!

Here's an update on what I am doing:

What model did you use for the Knightwarden?
It looks like exactly the model I'm looking for to finish my conversions

YESSS! Alpha Legion! Really looking forward to seeing you doing those, for obvious reasons... The Knight looks promising as well, and the use of DG bits for Iron Hands is genius.

    Cheers,

The knight warden is what the dread knight should have been! (Sorry but I'm a bit of a dreadknight hater) Looks sick!
