    Court Jester's other thread...

Last year I painted up this chap for a bit of fun, no prizes for guessing the inspiration...

Anyhow... This spring I am taking part in a Pulp Campaign and decided that I really wanted to use the above figure.

Forget the Rorschach of Watchmen... [HERESY I know]

Instead let me introduce the Rorschach Society. A brotherhood of vigilantes in post World War II London. To start with there was just one man hiding his face with an ink blot mask calling himself "Rorschach" but over time more heros took up the cause all of them calling themselves "Rorschach". Over time they linked up and created the Society to protect their country from such nasties as zombies, mad scientists, killer Robots and Nazis.

Although they all call themselves Rorschach they each dress differently but keeping within the theme and in one way or another they cover their faces with the inkblot...

This is the work completed so far...

Interesting. What paints did you use on the coat of the first model?

That would make one hell of a cool inquisitor retinue.

I used P3 Battlefield Brown and P3 Bloodstone. It was shaded with thing glazes of watered down black. I may have also mixed in some greens and lighter browns although cannot remember which ones. Enough to make the coat look a bit grimy...
