Oh, I feel your pain. That sucks. At least you got the red rings. That means that microsoft will cover the expense of fixing it. Get them to send you the box to ups it so you dont have to pay for shipping it back to them as well.

Got ONE red light yesterday so I took it back to store to exchange it today. Upon setup XBL asks me to change my Gamertag. Apparently it's offensive? But only after 4 years or so heh.
