Brilliant log, love the marauders, I might have to steal your idea once I redo my Warrior army. The army in general looks so cold and evil, that's exactly what Chaos armies should look like.
By the way, does your nick relate to your location? Or in other words:
"¿Eres sevillano? ¡Porque lo mismo somos paisanos! Si es así postea en mi log, el link está en mi firma, y dejo de hablar ya en español que si no nos echan la bronca"

Kaos...your painting and modelling are absolutely awesome. Puts mine to shame.
Loving this log so far. Those objective markers are awesome. What will they be used for?

I really do appreciate the kind comments.
Sorry I haven't replied to some of the questions. Here we go.
@ untimention - The Warrior Cloaks weren't too tough. I use P3 Paint's Cryx Bane Base. Then I mix something like 65/35 (ish) Cryx Bane Base and Cryx Bane highlight, and do a broad highlight on the areas that the light hits. Then I mix 35/65 Cryx Bane Base and Cryx Bane Base and hit the topmost parts. Then I wash with Badab black. I think it looks like I put more time into them than I actually did.
@ Alex Under - no, the "Seville" name comes from the Seville Classics brand personal fan that I have sitting on my desk at work keeping me cool. I couldn't think of a good screen name, so just used what was in front of me.
@ Mr. chair - The objective markers are just general purpose. I can give them to an opponent for his 100 VP when he takes one of my banners. Or I can use them for special objectives in fun games.
This round I am painting Warhounds and more Mounted Marauders. I am done with the dogs except for the bases, and I have two weeks to finish the Marauders. Ugh! This schedule is tougher than I thought it would be. I have to paint a little bit every day or I will not finish!
Awesome Corpse Cart conversion.
I love the models and keep up the great work.
Nice, I like the cultist-marauders.
You might think about trying some OSL on the burning skulls on the corpse cart, they look very cold (paint theory cold) and dark compared to the flames.

Here is Round 3's completed work! Warhounds and Mounted Marauders. Deadline was actually March 21st, I just had't gotten around to posting pics here yet. I still need to clean up the bases a bit and slather some blood on the flails, but here's the general idea.
This round is a box of Marauders and the new metal Khorne Champion.

Awesome WoC I must say
Must get back to my own at some point...
Looking really good Seville. I like the scary skull face paint on the mohawk horsemen.
Brilliant warshrine conversion and cool face paint on marauder horsemen.
Thanks a lot, guys! I really went out on a limb with the skull facepaint. Wasn't sure how it would work out. I am going to do it on a bunch of the marauder infantry I am painting up this month.
Any other cool ideas for warpaint?
I have a bunch of facepaint on my marauders and orcs. Try to bring the face paint down to the top of the mouth. It looks sharp and ends up looking like a skull /w no jaw. I also like blue face paint...especially when there is some blood spatter over the top!
p.s. The marauders need some more weathering on the wepons, especially the chains. The picture looks like they could almost be the gray plastic.
Keep up the awesome work!

Thanks, Blackbard. I am toying with a lot of ideas for my foot marauders. I like the idea of blue, the problem is that it doesn't fit in with the color scheme for my army and it's just about always "Tzeentch-y" by association. I am thinking maybe red facepaint here and there along with the skull faces.
I don't want any plain faces on any of my marauders. I want to de-humanize them and make them as menacing as possible. I am using the regular Marauder models this month. I don't know why, but I had a change of heart about them. Now I think they're kind of cool. Using the Mounted Marauder heads for them really really helps.
Yeah, I still need to slather blood and rust on the flails. Haven't gotten around to it yet.
Thanks for the comments, guys.
Hey there!
Really nice work - especially on the skull faced Marauder! I like the overally colour scheme you've chosen here. It's not so much in-your-face, but makes your army look battle hardend and tough. Keep it on!
Cheers,

Darn it Seville, for making me want to do WOC again.... nice looking stuff, love how 'brutal' everything looks!

Yeah, we flew our space church across 500 light years to get to this planet taken over by the orks. Now we're going to drop from orbit in buckets and run out and shoot pistols and hit people in the head with chainsaws. Ultramarines!
