That GDI trooper got out badly from that bayonet charge!
Kane's Kane for sure; good job, and the highlights on the suit fits in. Besides, if you're up for an Obelisk of Light, you could even use it for a Tank... On C&C 4's homepage there is an entry about it; the Scorpion Tank. Quite insane, but me likes.
Also, please keep the tutorials coming!
Man this blog is full of creativity that makes miniature hobby great.
I love all your conversions so far, and can't wait to see more!
A lot of highly unique approaches to each individual unit.

Pleaure to read, this plog. Lovely concept, lovely execution, lovely painting. Lovely jubbly.
Quite keen to see how those big robot thingy's come out.
A little update since I'm picking through piles of tyranids. Plus I'm slow in progress on the Avatars, pulling bits off and rejiggering them. Thanks for the encouragement as always
Been meaning to post the finished Cyborg Reaper. Very much changed from that crappy skeletonesque concept. I prefer a more "borg" like figure, representing the true horror of CABAL during the Firestorm crisis. Helpless humans carved up for spare parts and plugged into machines to serve as part of his monsterous army:
To respond to the earlier question about flame tanks. I focussed on the infantry first and foremost. And honestly I've just about exhausted the variety, so yeah it'll probably have to be vehicles and maybe an Obelisk after these Avatars![]()
Hmm. I'm in two minds over the Cyborg Reaper. It is certainly well painted and looks the part, but it looks too much like the Steamborg Executioner from Wyrd Miniatures that it is obviously based on. It's definitely not bad though, it just seems a little... underwhelming considering some of your previous works.
As always, I love your work and I hope to see more of it.
With regards,
Dan.
Lovely cyborg, but isn't it on the wrong kind of base?
Very nice pictures. Do you also plan to do vehicles like Orcas?
WHOA! I demand an discription of the build!?!

Hey Corryn, I'm new to the site, and I just wanted to stop in here and tell you again what you have probably gotten use to hearing by now: THESE MINIS ARE AWESOME!
Seriously, your work is just mindbogglingly good. If seen stuff for sale in stores that didnt look half as good. Keep going with this.
By the way, I guess I am of the minority in at least one respect: the cyborgs are my favorites, both here and as a fan of the game(GDI is generally my fave, except for the Marked of Kane which is my favorite Tiberium Series army). My favorite that I have seen of your work so far is the Cyborg Commando, followed closely by the Awakened and the female Nod commando from TW.
Anyways, keep up the good work dude, your doing great.
srew that im doing nod, gdi, allied, soviet, USA, china, gla, and mutants
i just finished 20 mamoths
i have them lined up against 10 nod light tanks and 25 mobile artillery plus i have havoc and 30 nod troops
WOOOOOOOx00 !!!!
i spent to much time in fantasy project logs.... how odd of me to miss this great thread. i remember the very first of C&Cs'. tho i was way too young to understand anything of the story, i remember looking at my dad playing it with great interestand of course i stayed a loyal fan to this day
the stuff u did is just amassing! now i wona do it to
i hope ull be putting some more stuff (preferably the Avatar) soon
cant wait for an update, literally![]()

I've always been a GDI man myself, but those NOD troops really do look amazing. I'm in the middle of building a Titan from Tiberian Sun (easily the best of the games!) myself, not sure I'd have the patience to convert troops though!
Both troopers look gorgeous but the Nod one is truly stunning. But then I'm biassed...

This log is just brilliant! Brings back the good old times when I played Command & Conquer 1 back in the nineties. What a game!
Your conversions really capture the feel of the two factions, the NOD ones are just awesome, the female Commando especially.

Just found this log too, and i think its amazing. Used to love the C&C games, the minis you have done are great and bring back all the happy memories of blowing up NOD and GDI buildings etc.
I look forward (though not hopefully) to more.
Cheers

@ Corryn: Sry, my English is really bad, but I'll try.
Can you show me how you built the normal GDI Trooper?
I'm pretty amazed to see this log still up and running. Usually not a fan of armies based on video games/movies (or jokes) because in my experience, this kind of army usually doesn't last and the execution usually is pulled off not very competently. But with your army you prove my expectations wrong. Very inspired conversions and very nice painting as well.
Can't say much about how close they are to the real thing. I did play C&C1, C&C3 and the one that pretends to be C&C3 (the blue/grey one in which you can play the Scrin) but isn't but I never was that great a fan of the GDI/Nod storyline and designs (they also changed after the first game of course). But your minis look very proper based on my sketchy memories.![]()
