Hey Kaos I am really impressed with your work. So cool. Really love the High elf on the griffon.
You blending is so good, how do you do it?
Keep up the good work.

outstanding work
Cheers!
Lord Dan- Thank you Dan! I added a bit of fire too, just in case the lightnings werenŽt enough!
MaxSigmund- Thanks and do it, i just go with the flow and try to make it look good.
was1974- Thank you Mr was. How I do it? Well i poke around a bit with a couple layers of blending but the most important thing is to use washes and inks properly. And that I think takes some practice to know how they react sometimes. Other times its just go over the top and drench the area in wash.
DemonClaw- Cheers!
Shadow_Steed-Thanks!
Purplebeard-Glad you liked it, it took some time!
Allright! Got some pictures here then. But first a little description! I was.. I WAS!!...going to go easy on this one. Just paint him up quick and easy, no funny stuff. And theeeeeen.... Lightning effects, lava base, fire.. this and that. Altough i skipped softening up the layering on various places (face, staff, etc) the special details took more time than I intended to hehe.. I have this new Idea that I will press myself to paint up these characters as quickly as possible but yet looking good enough. Well... This one took two long nights to paint up and the base alone took one night. Ah well, now he looks like a true Sorcererlord of Chaos atleast hehe..
Rambling/off
Pics. Note: It was very difficult to get good pictures due to the effects picking up alot more light thus going superbright and looked like it actually glowed. Had to darken it down alot. But these are the closest I get to the real colors. Enjoy!
More pics coming!

Last pic is a good show for where I went detailed on the eye but less on the staff. On a distance it looks just as good. But if I use him on a tournament sometime I will soften up all rough parts.
Anyway, that is that and now I am off to bed, entering the realm of sleep I hope. If my two daughters allow it and donŽt sleepwrestle on top of me again making me wake up and feel like a zombie beaten with a stick!
Cheers-Kaos

Wow, if that's what beaten zombies achieve with a brush, I think I'll just give in once the inevitable zombie apocalypse rolls round.
Great job on the lighting effects, you really brought the best outta that mini.

Excellent sorcerer; the combination of the blue robes with lightning effects and flames with the lava base is smart and well executed as well.
