    Amijp's Mordheim Stuff

    Hey there, a while ago, I promised I'd post pics of my Mordheim stuff, and I never did because my camera was crap.

    My camera is STILL crap, but I thought I'd have a go at taking some photos and posting them anyway.

    I warn you, I don't own photoshop or anything similiar, so my pics won't be winning any prizes. Anyway, on to the models! All of them are WIP at the moment, I have two warbands, Reiklanders and Middenheimers, and I plan on buliding a few more, including, Undead, Possessed, Skaven etc. etc.

    Now for my Reiklanders

    There will be more photos to come, just wanted to ask a quick question

    How to you insert images into a post, I'm guessing the pic has to already be on the 'net because you have to insert the url...maybe I'm wrong?

    So, in brief, is there a way of inserting pics without them already being on the internet?

    Cheers guys.

    Go to photobucket and make an account (its free), upload pics on there, insert the link it gives you into the image brackets.

    My warband relies heavily on it's archers (whaddya expect, they're Reiklanders) so here's mine, first, the archers;

    Nothing special, a mish mash of old and new Empire Soldiers, Pistoliers and Militia

    And here's my crossbowmen, I much prefer the poses on these guys;

    Hopefully I'll get some paint on them soon, until then, your C+C's are much appreciated

    Oh, and I thought I'd post this to show you my kind of painting standard, this dwarf actually won me my first prize in a painting competition in my local GW (Cardiff!) even though it's hardly as prostegious as a GD, I'm still proud

    I've noticed the flaking paint on the cloak, and the thickness of the paint on the axe (it's because i painted over the models first paintjob, without stripping it first, I actually thought the axe would cost me the comp) I may sort these out in the future.

    Agian, leave some C+C guys

    You've got brass balls to attempt green-stuffing a hand. I'm always way too afraid of the results. It turned out good, though. Are you planning on painting these guys up?

    @ Mr Chair: Hehe, yer, thats been my biggest green - stuffing attempt yet, I'm happy with the results, not perfect, but it'll do, thanks for the support It was pretty easy, let the green - stuff harden for a bit, then make sure ur tools are wet, so the gs dosen't stick, and then have a go at sculpting, if your result is horrendous, just scrape it off. Word of advice though, if you do attempt sculpting a hand, make sure you do the thumb straight away, at first I only had the fingers and hand, and it took me bloody ages to try and stick a thumb on!

    Ye, I'm going to buy some new paint during the weekend, and hopefully get these guys painted up, soon I'll get a few pics of my wip Middenheimers up aswell

    Ok, now for some Middenheimers, first, the WIP Captain;

    I need to green stuff the cloak around the front of his shoulders, and just sort it out, and add some equipment to him, and of course, a lick of paint

    Now the champion, again, both are Wip, tbh, these are pretty simple models, just need to give 'em some equipment, maybe a little bit of gs work;

    and...

    The marksmen, only two in this warband, as they are not as good at shooting compared to the Reiklanders,

    And now the henchmen, a group of five, armed with hammers...yes I know two of them are carrying clubs, but they are 'count as' hammers, ok? :P

    Again, they need some more equipment, and possibly a few green stuff conversions

    Re: Amijp's Mordheim Stuff

    As you can see, the Middenheimers are more Wip than the Reiklanders, so hopefully, if I grab some painting supplies on the weekend, the Reiklanders should get a seeing to

    Until then, any comments on the Middenheimers? I'd love to hear your opinions

    Cheers guys

    Middenheimers look great, excellent choice on limbs and weapons.

    Love the pose of the Middenheimer captain, the wind in his hair and cloak, halberd firmly planted, just looks plain awesome.

    May I also inquire as to why you are using bows on some models? I know I really loved my crossbows in my witchhunters, but when bows were on them nurgle enemies, they proved no real use, only elves could utilise them fully I reckoned.
