    Well I'm using bows as they are cheaper, but also offer some manouverabiliaty (I've mispelled that terribly...but you get the point) So I think with my corssbows laying down some heavy fire, the bowmen will be able to sneak around, and get into better firing positions

    Re: Amijp's Mordheim Stuff

    Ok, so this plog is alive again, which is ironic, because up next is;

    ZOMBIES!

    I'll explain the size of the warband...

    A while ago, I posted a question on the Mordheim Discussion forum, asking whether an all Zombie Undead warband would do well in a campaign, and, after a lot of discussion, with the help of a few other users, I decidied that for every zombie bought, you get TWO models, a sort of buy one, get one free. But a hero only gets 0.5 exp for killing a zombie, sounds fair right?

    So I made 20 zombies for my brother, and I even had a go at sculpting hair on a few, so here they are;

    And the hair...

    What do you think?

    Actually, it's quite difficult to see the hair..ah well, heres the rest of them;

    I tried to model most of them without weapons, because they are described as using their teeth and nails as weapons in the rulebook, plus, it gives them a sort of Dawn of the Dead look.

    And heres my fave, the most determined zombie of the bunch;

    And now for my Possessed cult brethren, these guys are inspired by Ash's brethren, but mine will look a bit diff, I still need to sculpt boots for them, and give them proper face masks/bandana things;

    Spears

    Archers

    I still need to do the heroes, and a few more brethren, I plan on having a Possessed warband that actually looks like a cult, so a lot of brethren, heres a link to my (rather contreversal) warband roster http://warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=190761

    Re: Amijp's Mordheim Stuff

    And the last thing for today, my Reiklanders test model, just finished this morning

    It was my first time of painting over a white undercoat, think it turned out ok, not perfect, but I like it

    What do you think? Leave me some C + C, so i can improve my skills

    Cheers guys

    Nice. Did you sculpt that Reikbeard? I'd love some close ups on those Zombs when they're painted.

    Yeah, thats right, although I can't take credit for the idea, Ash's cultists are what inspired me

    Re: Amijp's Mordheim Stuff

    Ok, so now for another small update, the other archers is finished

    I'm a tad unhappy with his moustache, but thats about it...

    Now thats this henchmen group done. The two guys have slightly different colour schemes, but I still think they look uniformed,

    What do you guys think? Any thought/comments, C+C welcomed as always

    nice I like your cultists - though how will they be different?

    a possessed cult with no heroes is not viable - maybe your group will allow you to have some generric cultist heroes if you go down to 0-1 possesesed

    alternatively, we play with the possessed as the leader and 0-2 wizards

    I don't know anything about mordhiem, but I do like your models. The reikland warband is my favorite of yours I think, each figure looks as though it has had a lot of thought put into the pose. Your painting is very good as well, it's a nice scheme well done. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the warband done.

    Did I miss something? Looks like your starting a whole Mordheim campaign just with your own warbands.
    Archers look great, very striking (good work with the white undercoat).

    Yup, think so too. How did you do the beard on the first one? Looks like a very natural blonde, if I try blonde I always end up with some kind of whitish blonde.

    Re: Amijp's Mordheim Stuff

    Thanks guys, I posted my stuff on here solely for feedback, so I'm gratefull for the comments ...ok, now for answers;

    Ash: I'm glad you like them, and I promise they'll be slightly different from your Brethren, its funny you mentioned them, as I was woring on them last night. I'll post a few pics soon. And I have more possessed guys still in the wings, a possessed, magister and a few more brethren, pics soon.

    Gargobot: Well the beard was a bit of touch and go, it was bestial brown for the basecoat, I mixed a bit of golden yellow into bestial brown for the first highlight, then added a bit of bleached bone into the mix, and dry brushed that on. For the final highlight, I carefully painted on bleached bone on to the hair, just on the most visible pieces of hair. Hope that makes sense.

    amijp: they don't _have_ to be different, I'm glad that you are using these ideas.

    I was just curious
