    Hehe, i wasn't really serious.
And now come to think of it, the mussel of the defilers battlecannon has got some pretty horrible glue-joints.

Is it wrong that your plog has made me want to totally rip your ideas off and do them myself?

    Iay, Iay! Chthulu Ftang!

Looks good, but I would not put paint to it until you are happy with the sculpt.

I fixed the stuff that was not done, and it's got a white undercoat now.

    I'm thinking about this paintjob...

But there is always the more traditional green...

OR maybe try something new, like this?

    Great to see you back!

Definitely the first one, paint-wise. If you manage to nail that look, this will turn out really awesome!

The Goat with a thousand young!!! Etc.

I concur with the first paintscheme idea- it matches up with the fatigues on your cultists and would look pretty darn stonking!

I want pictures of stuff! Army shots! Nowwwwwww!

    Re: My Traitor Guards

The painting of the army is correct and in touch with highly-rated dark of the chaos!
I am not a fan of the prince devil but it is only a personal opinion, the sculpture is really very beautiful but I find that towards the army of Khorne, it doesn't join too much, however the painting can make a lot also thus I wait.
Defiler when he stick really well and the idea is magnificent I LIKE.

so finally i love your army and i probably use flagellant as you for my army of renegade

    cheers

    Re: My Traitor Guards

Thanks! I have though about casting it, but it has not been sculpted with that in mind. I would have to fix and change a lot of stuff on it, and my casting-gear is really basic. I just think I would end up with a broken sculpt. :/

Maybe later, if I can get my hands on some pressurizer stuff so I can get good casts. As it is now, the end casts turn out of such low quality that I can't justify the pricetag I would need to charge for the time and money invested.

Anyhow, I have started painting it. I will go for the brown/green look of the first pic.

And I realized I need a champ to get possessed by the daemon, and my champs are all quite important in-game. So I started rummaging through my bitz-box and found a few of my old 3:ed possessed.

I made these when I was a kid, so some might lack a bit, but some greenstuff and a new paintjob and I think they will wreak havoc again. Too bad the rules for them suck so horribly much.

The guy on the left in the first picture rocks face!

Painting is coming along nicely although I think it is a bit bright...just my opinion though

Once he throws some brown washes on there it should look perfect though.

    Those possessed are inspiring.

    Re: My Traitor Guards

Thanks, yeah I know Cthuhlu looks very bright now, but I prefer to work from light to dark. In my opinion is a lot easier than working from dark to light when you want a higher quality paintjob, though any mistake you make stands out much more on a bright model.

And thanks Dasqeek, I really like that fíg myself. Kinda funny that he is the least altered possessed of the bunch, but still stands out in a nice way.

Painting is progressing. I hope to have him done by the end of this week.

If only I could paint as well as I can sculpt. It often feels like I end up ruining my sculpts when I put paint on them.

All of the above and more.

Edit: I am still greatly disturbed (probably more so now that it is painted) by that tail.
