well.. here we go.. i snapped these really quick just to start this thing, and i'll take better and better pictures as time goes on in the booth with proper lighting.. that just takes so much time to do while prepping... so on with the show..
this is a list that i'm working on right now, and it looks like i'm not going to the alamo, so i'm going to complete this list and move onto either lizards or cult of khaine with an all witch elf army and hellebron
i'll try and keep this updated at least once or twice a month depending on how much time i get to work on it.

Crazy chariot

oh yeah.. a little description..
everything in the list is either a beast, riding something, or flying.. the exception being the beast masters with the hydra's..
the painted stuff is painted because it was in my last list, and i'll take better pictures of it all later..
the dark riders consist of: marauder horses, COK legs, DE warrior torsos and arms, and corsair dragon cloaks.. a little green stuff to make em look cool and a lot of time! they will be my last goal of this list..
the dragon rider is half dark elf and half high elf with a chaos warrior helmet modeled with a point and two COK helmet crests.. the "deathpiercer" lance is sitting next to him with the point from the beastmaster on a manticore's lance
should i put scales on his cloak he is wearing?
two units of harpies, and you see the chariot being pulled by a single game zone cold one.. there will be 4 chains added later.. two for the pulling, and two for the control of the master
have fun!

first time I've seen dark riders using cok bits and marauder horses, but it works very well.. oh and nice cold ones .. gamezone yes ?

Just 1 tip, to make the pictures bigger, copy the URL and put it that in the Add picture box thing when you post, you get bigger pictures. The army looks brilliant! Got a list for it?

also.. its an interesting list.. and i haven't play tested it, but i like the way it looks, and it may freak some people out too but the official list is:

dreadlord on dragon
-heavy armor, sea dragon cloak, shield
-deathpiercer lance, and pendant of khaeleth

master on cold one
-battle standard bearer: standard of slaughter
-lance, sea dragon cloak, shield

sorceress-level 1 on dark steed
-dispell scroll

4 units of dark riders
-each has musician, and crossbows

2 units of harpies x5 ea.

5 COK
-full command
-ring of hotek

6 COK
-full command
-warbanner

6 COK
-full command

cold one chariot

2 hydra's

i got a bunch of DE stuff from a guy who threw in the game zone figs and some older beastmaster models.. so for flavor.. chariot gets the biggest cold one and the other hydra gets female beastmasters.. which will come into play in the witch list i've got too

You could probably lose the chariot and add in FC on the COK and more upgrades..

if FC you mean full command.. they all have full command..
also.. just to let you know the intention of the list.. the BSB will go in the unit of 5 to make them 6 and also.. on a charge have a static combat res of a possible 5 with banners + whatever wounds they do + any extras.. i can't add another war banner or D3 banner.. and the only other options are ASF banner and the fear banner.. which are kinda pointless with fear already and a movement of 14 on a charge..
its scary that the only other units in the game are dark riders and harpies.. basically no armor and leadership 6.. boooo
anyway.. to keep this a project updater... i'm still prepping models today and i'm almost ready to start painting.. i'll try and update every 2 days or so to show you the progress.. i'm painting the dragon first just because i'm anxious!

oh man...
well.. i am almost done basing everything and getting it ready to paint.. and as i was priming the chariot.. whop! it falls off my painting platform onto the deck... uuuuugggggg!!!! now i have to just make it look as good as i can but its going to be a mess! %^&^$*^%$##@#%&(*(^)(*!!!!!!

alright.. i just took a load of pictures to show you guys.. most of my last army construct.. and some of other figures for armies and commissions i've painted in the past.. check em out!
these first pics are of models in the all creature army
i've started working on the dragon and i just wanted to post an update pic before i go on the road for a week.. i was hoping on finishing it up before i left, but its easter man!!
the updated chariot with chains and pull bar for the driver..
also.. obviously a banner of some sort. he is my BSB made from master on cold one torso, old cold one rider legs, plastic cold one, corsair banner with added warrior flag and dark rider banner pole top
the sorceress on her "stolen" dark steed is the new sorceress model on old cold one legs atop a high elf horse... this was my small figure that helped win best overall in the painting contest at lone wolf this year
the rest is pretty self explanatory.. the turn counter is the last pic

here are some more figures from my last list along with the knights in the previous post
the shades with the assassin is the mvp unit of the whole tourney for me.. they charged a unit of chaos chosen in the rear and the assassin by himself took out the whole unit himself.. the sorceress was probably the worst.. being level 4 and trying to rule the magic phase.. she miscast and killed herself 3 of 5 games..
the poor guy on the cold one didn't make the cut because of the assassin.. pity!

these are just a couple of the first fantasy army i had.. started this one about 5 years ago and still only have a couple figs painted
i'm going to post more while on the road.. have a few goblin models, and dwarf and some other figures that have been on cool mini or not

Nice! i want to collect fantasy warhammer but im already working on 2 40k armies an ork and a 'nid one (orks are going to go aporkaliptic scale). if i have got past my post limit i will make a thread with pics.

the sorceress conversion is the torso of the new sorceress on the cold one, pretty much exactly as it comes.. but her lower body is attached to the cold one. in that lot of stuff that i got the game zone cold ones in, i also got 4 or 5 old cold one models.. so since i already have like 20 new cold one models, i'm using the others as bits..
most of the riders have their arms up so the legs are pretty easy to cut off.. i saved the little pouch on her hip and it actually hid something i had to cut off too.. so got those together and green stuffed the joint and slapped her on a high elf chariot horse.. pretty much a cut and paste, but it came out good and i really like the model

got more pics.. if anyone can give me some tips on taking better pictures.. please let me know!! right now i'm using my painting lamps with a photo defraction box i made will vellum paper and an olympus point and click camera with a macro function.. pics come out dark as you may notice i doctor some of them up a bit.. anyway.. here..

next is the limited edition white dwarf model they had with WD 300.. love this model!
also.. this is my workstation picture as well.. its a painting tray i made when i was bored at work one day.. turns out the thing is completely practical and i've sold 8 more since i built mine.. the back holds your paint cans, and you can see the top holds plenty.. the drawers are huge though.. roughly 11x17 inches.. all my basing material is in the right side and everything else in the left

leon louencour.. painted for commission, as a door prize for a new orleans tournament. a great friend of mine went to the tourney, won it for just showing up and brought it back to me..
so the best kinda commission is the kind you get paid for AND you get to keep the model!

alright.. and lastly
some of my 40k stuff.. i rarely play 40k anymore, as i simply favor fantasy more, but i still have an almost fully painted dark angels army in storage
