You need to get under it with a hobby knife or a finger nail, and pry it off. Its a long and dirty task, but it can be done.

    Welcome to warsee....

oh wait, you've been around since November, last year so you should know that there's a Modelling, Painting and Terrain General Discussions section where this thread actually belongs, where people asked the same before and where other users will get you more helpful replies than mine. Maybe if you ask a mod nicely, he will move this thread where it belongs.

On the other topic....either use a knife or, in the case of metal models, you can throw them into acetone or something of similar "sharpness" that dissolves plastic. It will get rid of the GS, probably it will fall off first, then get softer and eventually dissolves.

Or maybe one will come across it and move it to M, P&T General anyway...

If you don't mind loosing any paint on the mini and it doesn't contain plastic parts you can drop it in some Nitromoors - do a search though for the use of Nitromoors on some hobby forums - as it is awful stuff if you get it on your skin, it can also easily destroy drains etc. in your sink so do some research as to A/ how to use it safely and B/ how to dispose of it afterwards. Otherwise get a decent sized thick-ish pin (like used for sewing) and pick it out, once you get under certain areas you'll find it will come awy in decent sized pieces, but don't let that fool you it will be a long job to do properly. If it's a flat-ish are you are talking about a craft knife is your friend, but see above for final finishing method.
