Great finish on the Stalker, also like the look of your lord, subtle yet effective work!!

Nemessor Tahoth is finsihes! As you might notice, I got rid of the tube running from his back to the gauntlet-device. Allthough it had looked alright before the model was painted, it just lloked way too huge/unproportional afterwards.
The painting is intended to be subtly different from Lord Sethesh. You might remember that I've used Trazyns hunched body for Lord Sethesh (my version of Imothek) who is the Phaeron of my Dynasty. As Tahoth is "only" Nemessor, but has a very intimidatong pose, I tried to show his lower position with the use of less gold and blue around his upper body (apart from the cloak, which is golden on all my Overlords). I hope it worked.
Very nice man! It's colorful, yet within the boundaries of being a Necron
Nice shine spot placement on the orb.

It looks excellent man - great glowy effect around the lines along the wings!
You accidentally put the image webpage URL into the IMG tags instead of the direct link though.

Very nice. Looks cold and menacing. The glow effect you achieve against the light metal is very effective.
For some reason the pics don't appear when I read your post though, and the links (which I copied and pasted to look at the pics) only appeared when I clicked to quote you.
Thank you guys!
I had some problems with my internet-connection this morning, so I was quite unsure if the copying of the links would work. They should be fixed now.
Really cool stuff. Should have dropped by the Xenos log sooner. Silver and blue is a great colour scheme.
All the best.
Servo.
Another great piece of workmanship!

That looks really good, the blue's very effective.
Thank you guys!
Allthough it looks like I have been lazy the last weeks, I managed to get some more things done. First of all, the Doomscythe:
There's a little too much flash in the pic, so the silver highlights are not shown at all... Be assured that they are the same like on all my other Necrons.
As there are several Necron-players in my gaming-group, I decided to write a special scenario about a crypt that is being awakened by a lord and his retinue. During the process, the crypt is attacked by the planetary defence and has to hold until reinforcements can be summoned. To represent the crypts army, I wanted to have more Canoptech-stuff for the army, so I started with one of the new spiders:

The sharp highlights on the blue work really well.
I still like the old spyders better.![]()
@Cap'n Facebeard: Thanks! You're probably right, the old spiders looked somehow a little more menacing.
Sorry for the delay in updates - I have been to the isle of Crete for the last to weeks, so there was only summer, beach, pool, cocktails and fun but no painting...
When I came home yesterday, I found a package had arrived. Here's the content:

Oooooh! Can't wait to see them painted up! Will you be leaving them as they are or converting them at all? Personally I really don't like how big the guns are or where they're mounted, and the light bulb wing things aren't very nice in my opinion, but I was never a fan of the orbs all over the new necron models.
They'll be painted up in the next 2-3 days!Oooooh! Can't wait to see them painted up!
I'll leave them as they are - funny thing is, that all the points you've mentioned are those that I like most of the modelsWill you be leaving them as they are or converting them at all?![]()
Can't wait to see them Dezmorded!

I would say worth the wait, but there wasn't one!! Considering the speed these were built/painted that's a great looking job Dez, the schemes simple but very effective, key to a successful build me thinks!

Have you gone for a darker stealth tone to these guys or is it just the photo?
Either way, looking good!
The Forgeworld models look great! Fast build/painting too!
Was there considerably more/sharper detail on them, or just similar to the regular Citadel necrons?
