Help please? (original Slaanesh colours)

Hey all, I'm currently under consideration of making a mortal (to start with) slaanesh warhammer army. I've got all my ideas together - sisters repentia for marauders, a flay happy commander, etc - but I'm stumped on a colour scheme.

Everywhere I look, I see purples and pink for slaanesh. Purple I used to like, but I'm wanting something...different.

Now there's a guy who plays Dark Elves who had a fantastic green and gold scheme going on. He's got pics on the web at the dragon-slayers website I think. I'm thinking of stealing that scheme, but has anyone else got anything that is an original take on slaanesh?

I think for Slaanesh, any colours are original or traditional, particularly if they are subtle and pastelly. Green would be good, but I'd be inclined to go really pale...

My original thoughts were a serpenty theme. perhaps dark angels green or lighter and gold, with skin being a mix of rotting flesh and white. The most stunning skins for slaanesh (or all chaos really) is a grey almost bluey hue. I just didn't want to encroach on Nurgle though (I encroached on Slaanesh with my Scorpion Green plaguemarines).

Well, I for one would always avoid any green for the majority of slaanesh, IMO, they seem a bit off, just too out there, pale and pastel is the way to go, if you could manage a fairly stale looking goblin green I'd be impressed, even more so if you could effectively cotrol the dark angels green.

There is a common misconception that pink and black is the "standard" colours for Emperor's Children. This is of course ********, the studio army is painted that way, but the Children are notorious for their varied and vibrant schemes. Paint them whatever way you like, but I'd be careful about dark angles green without a really vibrant bright colour to compliment it. What about jade green and a bright yellow?

I just say dark angel green because I have it already. I hate painting yellow, but practice makes perfect. Jade sounds good, I'll try that on a spare mutation arm and an old chaos warrior i have...

My Slaaneshi fantasy section's Ice Blue. Looks rather good, actually.
