Hi Guys!

I'm quite new to warseer, haven't been posting much, mostly been lurking around in this section of the forum.
My main army is Raven Guard, and I also collect Night Lords, but some time ago I decide to start a new army. I'm a great fan of any kind of space marines ( as you may have noticed), so I took the space marine hobby kompendium an searched for a chapter that looked cool. I decided to go for the iron hands, because alll these biomechanical stuff draw my attention and seemed to be a good way to improve my sculpting and modelling skills.
after buying and assembling I painted the first test mini.
Here it is, a (jet) nameless sergeant of the first squad:

The highlights on the shoulder pads look a little rough, but that's the only thing I've got to give critique on.

Did you sculpt a tiny wrench for his clan symbol? That's awesome! I've considered buying miniature tools and clock parts to put gears and cogs on my Iron Hands, but I really like how that shoulder pad looks.

Hey, does anyone else miss when Iron Hands Sgts could get Servo-arms? I like to pretend still by buying them a powerfist but using the old Techmarine backpack to represent it.

@ Mr. Selfdestruct: thanks a lot. yop, it's quite easy, it's just a small roll of green stuff.
The servo arm is definitely missing, I think that their should be more specific chapter rules like in the old codex.

Great stuff so far Ostling! You also highlight the black armour very well, I often see far too harsh or untidy highlights on black, but yours looks very good. The freehand o the shoulderpad is also very nice.

Right now I'm working on a cybot an razor back for the sqaud. And of course the rest of the marines from squad one. hope to get something up in the next days.

Thanks a lot, it was actually not easy building this marine, I had no idea what I shall put in his hands if not his weapons, so I build a buzzer an that auspexarm

hey ostling, really nice, i like them, they are painted quite simply, with minimal colours, and it really works.

a real "iron" feel to them,

and nice lenses, look great.

and finally, i love the little monitor on the flamer guys backpack, little details really do make a big difference.
