The new contemptor looks great, I still think it would look cool if you added some IF iconography too, like the fw transfers. I gotta say that your first contemptor has such a great pose, you've really managed to get a lot out of the flexibility of the kit mate

You should go for it! Its a brilliant model. I am tempted to try out some transfers and icons. I was going to put one on the neck guard area but I completly forgot and already started the weathering. I dont know if I want to go back and change it now It might not blend in well.

You adressed the only problem that I actually had with this log, the bandwith problem

Impressive painting! I love the battle damage and weathering on the tanks and dreadnoughts. Maybe you should start a collection to pay a pro account on Photobucket?

I did have a pro account. Photobucket offered a deal where if you signed up to something else they gave you a pro account. My subscription has run out now and Im stuck with a normal account. It wasnt a problem until I started posting up my Flames Of War on multiple sites using the same account. Hopefully splitting the stuff between the two accounts should work out. If not then I might have to swallow it and pay for a account.

I got hold of some guns from the Forge World Tauros kit for my Terminators.



Who suddenly got alot better with 6th edition so they may even see some tabletop action.

I've also been working on a conversion beamer techmarine. Although Im not sure that I am happy with the conversion beamer placement. I might stick it on some tracks so it can wheel around next to him.





My contemptor unfortunately came unstuck on the legs so I took the opportunity to capture a photo of the dread doing some Matrix moves. Why else would he get a 5+ save against shooting attacks?!?



I took the opportunity to give him a new more detailed base and shall be darkening him up soon so he is more in line with the other contemptor.

The pads worked out great. I think I might need one more set from you as I might use my Lysander as Lysander! So il need to make another Sgt. The green stuff tassles are really great as they give some flex so you can cut them and pose them easily.

Been a little while since my last update. I have made some progress with my tactical marines but have mostly been making scenery. Ive also added five sternguard to the squad.

I have been on a scenery making bender at the moment. Heres a whole bunch of photos with some Imperial Fists thrown in for good measure.















Hope you like what you see. The airbrush made short work of the painting. I want to add some crates for scatter terrain and a few other little bits. In the future when I want to add a sump for Necromunda and a shrine of the Aquilla.

My Forgeworld and bits orders have arrived enough bits for 6 missile launchers and 6 heavy bolters. I am arming my tactical squads and a devestator squad and magnetising them both so I can swap the weapons over. I just need some more magnets.

Bugger, was hoping there was a brilliant lookalike that didn't require me to buy a £43 kit Thanks tho, I'll keep my eyes open for a gun barrel I can swap out. Maybe something from that guy who makes all the Fellblade conversion packs...
