Re: Irra's Chaotic vampire counts project

    Hi again

Let´s continue with the werewolves, here we have the pictures of the final look after painting and dipping (conversion guy, not painter so dipping it’s my way…)

    - First “Poor Otto”:

    - Second “Unlucky Fritz”

    - Third and last “Brave Hans”

I also made a 25x50 mm base just in case I wanted to have 6 dire wolves instead of 5:

    - Formation of 5

    - Formation of 6

I totally agree with Malorian, too much work for something that dies so easily :-D

    Cheers

Totally awesome! I must ask you, what do you have in mind for the Varghulf?

If you convert a lowly dire wolf this much then I can't wait until you indulge yourself with the varghulf!

    Keep it up! Subscribed!

BOO: Indeed I'm struggling with the Varghulf at the moment, but you won't see the pictures here for a while, I have other pictures to upload

CRAGUM: I do not work fast, this is stuff I had painted and completed sometime ago, it's just that I decided to post it in Warseer now (It has been posted in my Spanish forum during the whole process since I started this army one year ago). I'm in the middle of a "painting crises" (********* Vhargulf) and I thought that this could improve my morale and give me painting strength :_D

Thanks a lot for all your comments, it is refreshing me and giving me morale to keep on painting!!!

Re: Irra's Chaotic vampire counts project

    Good evening

Today some pictures of different heroes:

    - First a vampire standard bearer, the miniature is a chaos hero with a small modification from the flagellant blister:

It has the chaos simbol from the vampire (TH from Thalem of Chaos, background...)

    - Second another vampire, in this case it is for the vampire with the movement talisman and the crimson armor (armor save 2+) the conversion is the cape to make it more dynamic

Nice model choices for your heroes and great painting, at first I thought the red is maybe a little excessive, but fluff comes first.

the conversion is the cape to make it more dynamic
The pose of the vamp is pretty dynamic already, but nice addition.

    Keep it up!

Re: Irra's Chaotic vampire counts project

    Good evening

More stuff, today the grave Wight king that I use as standard bearer. For this I use as base a Gamezone miniature, in this case the Khemri King on horse (very nice miniature):

First I file a symbol in the head of the horse and I put some horns in the horse’s head, the horns are from the new bloodletters:

Then I started the work with the Wight king:
    - I put the horns from the Chaos warriors infantry blister
    - I change the sword for a Chaos axe
    - I put those skulls as cape brooch

    And all together:

    Tomorrow more steps…

    Cheers

I like how this new guy is shaping up! It will be cool to see how you transform him

Great choice of models for your heroes btw, I really like the red vampire. He looks really full of movement, and also the bone armoured standard-bearer is also a a really sweet model. Had thoughts of adding him to my own army sometime in the future...

Lots of great conversions here, very nice. One werewolf=Two dire wolves, very clever.

In the background, didn't a large chaos force just disappear in the forest of Sylvania during the Storm of Chaos? Maybe this is them...

Re: Irra's Chaotic vampire counts project

    Hi again

    More about the Wight King:

    - First I use the putty to convert the Egyptian cape into a barbarian cape. I also make the standard from the marauders blister, then I changed the horse’s tail for some chains form the Rat Ogres blister:

    - Now the painted pictures (I put the sword scabbard before painting):

I like it. He looks like he is going to cut your head off and then eat your children

Or cut your head off, your arms off and legs off while eating your children at the same time. This guy is clearly someone you don't want to mess with.

He look great! The only thing that I do not like with him is the standard, it looks out of place somehow.

    - Whats up next on your to do list?

Re: Irra's Chaotic vampire counts project

    thanks for all the comments

Boo: right now I'm working with the Varghulf and the ghouls, but I have tons of pictures form other finished units (zombies, more skeletons, corpse chariot, spectres, grave guard, black knights...) That's the reason why I'm posting so fast, as soon I post all the stuff already finished I will have to update slower.

And also I'm having "wet" dreams about my future Zombie dragon, just a note, I want to make it a Targaryen dragon (from GRR Martin books) and I'm thinking about a 3 head zombie dragon
