I have started painting them now, unlike my Gondor list, i will not paint them by company. Will try to paint much more models, giving them one colour at a time, think it will goes faster this way. But it will take longer time before any model is finished.

It's going forward, but i chose too many models at a time.
I'm painting 35 Harad models now, and have gotten basic colors on them, only missing wash and highlight.
Hopefully I will post pictures soon. Then i can go back to paint my lovely Gondorians.![]()

Great log, its good to see a good WotR army being painted up to such a solid standard.
The Haradrim tester looks good, the only thing I would suggest is to mix a bit of silver into the gold for highlighting.
I look forward to seeing more, kudos for being able to batch paint such numbers, I personally struggle at a mere 6 at a time. :P
nice painting there, very clean, which can be difficult given the scale of these lotr minis.
gandalf is also shaping up nicely, perhaps some more highlights in his beard to bring out some detail... but other than that very nice.
Thank you.
I will try a little highlighting on the gold, if i ever get so many models painted
Thanks!
Gandalf have actually received another highlight on his beard, as there was some paint chipping there, that had to be fixed anyway.
It's going forward with the painting, hoping to have some picture update soon.

A lot better than my army. I have almost 200 (something close to around 170) warriors of minas tirith and 64 rangers of Gondor. Man what a lot of paint and I have even more units! I need to buy some artillery though.
Finally an update!
I have finished my haradrim, and i must say I'm very happy about that.
; )
How does it look? i have used more time on the bases this time, and added some stones too.
I appreciate every feedback![]()

They look great! Nice to see them with a darker skin tone than the borderline Caucasian GW ones. I think your Gondor soldiers might be a tad jealous of the Haradrim though, the Southrons are a bit better done! Keep up the good work, as a long time LOTR fan you might have just given me the motivation to start the Mordor army I've always wanted to do.

Currently Listening to (Keeping me sane whilst painting) - Deuce - Nine Lives
Thanks, I have always wondered why gw have their in such a light skin tone.
The Haradrim do have more work, so my poor Gondor soldiers might get jealous.
Going to a tournament next week, so will have too look into my 40k stuff, will get back to painting lotr after the tournament![]()

I think their skin could do with another highlight or two, so their facial hair stands out. Otherwise, they look brilliant!

Great work, but I agree that the skin needs more highlights as at the moment it looks a little flat.
I agree, the skin could use a highlight will try to mix some bleached bone into the mix and see if that works.![]()

The Gondor and Harad armies are both looking very good, nice job!
Those Haradrim look excellent! Indeed, a good choice to make them dark skinned.
