Nice painting on the Skaven.

I think the paint job on the Greater Lump of Nurgle is very nurgly; keep it.
The sculpt would look better with distinguishable fingers and some muscle definition on the arms imho.

And am I the only one who is reminded of the Swamp Thing right now?

I was thinking "what the hell does it remind me???" exactly, the swamp thing!!!

well im going to do some work to him when ive got alot of my skaven done tbh. i want to add nails like nurgley and then i also want to like you say add a bit more structured on the shoulders and arms.

but thankyou about the saven stuff comment, ive actually painted all the skaven rat swarms. and tbh im very happpy with the result.just got to get another paint form the craftshop i get my paints from to get the bases right as mine ha srun out. bad times

what should i paint next? plague monks or night runners? or rat ogres?

Update finally, colonel cleric shall be pleased with me now as he has been asking uss to update me blog lately.

so ive mostly been staring at giant rats and not the men like kind as ive been focusing for some reason all the giant rat packs and pack masters are now starting to get worked on.

Ive only done two packs upto now but im starting on the rest tonight aswell as a pack master or 2.

Ive been working on my small unit off night/gutter runners. just started on some of their skin and clothing.

Right enough rambling im going to show ya the goods.

hello!

well its been a really long while but been a bit caught up with summer of war and work and all that plus the celebration of me and my girlfriend standig each other for a whole year now! lol

anyways its about time i gave you lovely people out there something else to look at skaven like and all that.

well i finally got the one model ive wanted for skaven and ive pulled my finger out and my greenstuff and ive got some loverly new unit made. now can anyone guess what ive made?

the second lot i just need to sort out a bit of GS on the hands and such to sort them out. im hoping to make about 10 of these loverly ratkin.

now which fur do you mean as there is 2 types, theres the grey on and the greeny one.

the grey is made by a combination of 4 different layers of dark to lighter shades of grey. then for green its just a special made green i use for this army dry brushed on.

WELL HELLO...

A long long time since i last appeared on this thread with anything but its about time a bit of threadromancy was used to make me show you what i have been getting on with.

Firstly without any picture ive finally got my screaming bell and deathmaster sknitch!

but for things with pictures ive done a little bit of work to start myself off again. Firstly a paint job for my warlock engineer and secondly the creation of a vermin lord as im so chuffed they brought them back!

Firstly the walrock
not finished completely but i just have to finish with the warpblade what i know feel is annoyingly outdated in new rules and pointless.


Secondly my loverly converted verminlord ive been working on for a wee wile just couldnt find his left arm till 3 nights ago...
basic rat ogre kit but with the arm twisted to be pointing and the head of a chaos warhound with tails for horns and horns for teeth. the right hand will be having a kind of skaveny green flame flaming from around it as it was no weapon in it, he is in early stages at mo so crit woould be loverly...

Well i know i only updated a bit ago but i had to show you all a sneaky peak to the hellpit abomination im working on at mo. i wanna see if anyone can figure out what it is made off or will be?
its on a chariot base by the way, whats peoples view on the creature being on a base this size?

oh and btw im hoping people can give me some feedback cause i really am stuck at mo and what to do with colour schemes!

yeah the face is going to be a little longer so the teeth are covered up what im going to start a little work on tonight if i can find my greenstuff.

fantastically he stands around 1cm taller than any rat ogres!

and yes sir you are darn correct it is 6 hounds... at the moment. the idea is a mass of these hounds in a slab of flesh and bones and gooyness flying towards the enemy not sure whether or not to put a wooden standing platform on back yet though.

i love th vermin lord in the new uk wd is a weapon made from plasticard and a painting masterclass maybe look at those for a few tips? the abomination are the rest of your hounds i see, im looking for a way to put chaos hounds in my skaven army since i really love the modesl

Right im back again because im sat alone in my house at university bored off my tits as everyone has gone home for christmas bar me
i not liking having to work so close to the big day

anyways ive been working on a few bits for my skaven, i was going to do orc and gobbos but then thought sod it!

so ive started my screaming bell...


and also ive been working on some loverly little slave creatures by the form of nurglings what are under the reign of my plague priests of my army. I had a bunch lying round and i thought they would look ace as little slaves for my army...
