Oh man, that Catapult looks awesome! A very cool conversion, even more so when considered it's made of metal! That must make for a fine focal piece of your army...
Check out my Mordheim scenery! NOW! I mean... Please... Only if you want to of course...![]()

I agree... this is going to make a great centerpiece once painted up. Keep up the splendid ideas!!
Feel free to check out my fantasy plog containing Blood Bowl, Empire, Skaven and lots more!
Why thankyou guys! Blimey never had so many quote to have to reply to in one go!
That firstly is indeed my stormvermin unit! I felt that using a moulder/pestilence army that my vermin had to be a bit malformed themselves even if they are the elite of my army... So combining old clanrats with ungors and then also some nice vintage stormvermin I have created a 26 rat strong unit... (would of been 30 but i ran out of ungors...)
I do come bearing gifts for you all in the form of some delightful crew and the base for my Doomwheel in warseer definition >.<'
Now this is where I need your guys help badly. Ive got this far with the catapult but the problem I am suffering is that I am not too sure whats left model wise to do to it. Like is it fine the way it is or should it have some extra little bitts added?
Let me know what you guys think and yet again cheers muchly for the comments!

So well I just kinda cracked the paints out and I started getting on with painting the big ole beasty. At the moment it is pre washing, its quite weird going back to an old painting style I used for this army using washes. Nicer though to get onto an army what are easy to paint through, where my ogres looked at detail and my gobbos looked at highlighting. My skaven look at a shady form, an army where the shades of colour match the armies seedyness!
So... Plague Claw Catapult in WIP stage.
Look forward to hearing what you guys think!

Ahhhh wet weather and not much on but the olympics.
Perfect time to get on with some Skaven and bits. Plus with the missus by me side, productivity has increased!
So after the nil response from folks on the catapult I thought I would move onto another plague ridden unit plus a little couple other things.
So today we have got the following: 20 plaguemonks, a grey seer/plague priest and a delightful giant via the missus. So pictures are in order really, just got to wash my plague monks and then they are just needing weapons and details. The giant is being painted by my girlfriend and is in the base coat stage. While the grey seer bar his base is almost complete!
Little shot of the two together. Doubt I barely use them...
Right off to go watch Misfits on dvd and chill out. Maybe some painting tonight or tomorrow.
Cheers Muchly

Squeek all!
Been a busy bee this week and I have managed to get some good hobby time over this weekend. I have done a couple things to show you, one is my bases and the other is something I am going to save to show you when it is all done.
So firstly base style for this army.
And sneaky peaks...
As you can see I have decided to include some creatures from another universe but with an odd addition!

Nice, those kroothounds blends well with fantasy imo. =)
Thankyou sir! I have actually been working on clanrats so no real progress on the hounds piece. I was sat there and I just thought blimey i have two kroothounds and I have no use for them as I hate tau.
So as I was saying before, I have been working on clanrats today and yesterday and I have to say I do so love these new edition clanrats! They are amazing easy to paint and have some great details on them. Up to now I have base coated 15 rats but I have started work on ten and 1 is now almost done bar shield. He was primarily a test model but it worked lol
Better view of the rathounds...
Enjoy!

What will the kroot hounds do? Looks a bit like they're pulling a chariot.
can't wait to see more! some brilliant creations![]()
Today is a special day because I have managed to finish a model!
Yes I finally got round to finishing the base and then adding subtle touches to my plagueclaw catapult. Really happy with this model and now with the snowy touch to it I think that it really boosts the theme of the army and where they are set. I really am happy with the result of the catapult. I think it will become a nice stand out piece for my army along with my other big weapons such as my doomwheel and my warp lighting cannon what I would like to point out are in the progress of being finished off...
So for pictures! I am trying out a better way of photographing my models and its a real case of trial and error.
Feedback on this one would be amazing as its one of those models i want to get right to make the army look perfect.

really stunning! i find skaven and snow goes really well, the dark, muddy colours contrast so well with the clean white snow - pure, clean, fresh snow next to muddy, corrupted, frozen ground i love. I know you can do this with so many armies, but there's something about rats scampering around in snow, dragging their warpstone along with them, that ticks my boxes
i'm a huge fan of detail & usually place poor, unsuspecting, crushed slaves under my skaven warmachines and maybe an orgre pushing the thing - but that's just me
That Catapult looks great! Lot's of little details and the snow really make this model work... It all screams 'Skaven' to me!

Looking very nice.
Thankyou so much guys! I am really happy with it although not long after posting the pictures up... There was a slight accident and i learnt how delicately I will need to be transporting this beast around. lets just say a lego set fell from not too high and well the bell tolled (then fell off)
Sorted now though. So everything is ok!
So I have been a busy bugger because I start my new job next week and I highly doubt for a couple weeks I will probably have much chance to work on much so I have painted as much as possible in the next couple days.
Couple updates over the next couple days then should be survice...
Firstly is a IOB rat ogre that is a filler in my clanrats unit as it sticks with the moulder mutant theme and as well I have all the normal rogres for a rogre unit and it just looks a bit out of place.
As well a sneak peak at my workbench and whats being worked on at same time...
Yet again thanks for the comments guys! I really see this army coming together now so its nice having the support! Cheersum!

So I am planning on adding more to my slaves unit but i am thinking of getting the new ones and placing the current nurglings into my giant rats unit to boost numbers. Plus I have a plan for mass production of the little buggers.
Anyways to break the unit up I am adding an additional couple of the nurglings bigger brothers into the unit. Ohhh and some Stormvermin
Updates will be a bit more scarce from now on as starting the new job monday so will be no doubt tired for next couple weeks...
Cragum
Nice old stormvermins!
Good luck with the new job!
