I wonder if the chest armor is a shell piece, or whether its whole torso front, a la Chaos Spawn kit.

I'm also hoping that the hands will be separate pieces; sure, killing someone with demon forged hell talons is cool, but nothing says 'give you the business' like a broadsword or axe.

Count me all in with this kit; I'm very excited, especially with the variety of heads, armor, wings, and other bits that have been evinced by this kit in all the glamor shots so far.

Hopefully it'll be like the LoTR troll kit they released where the armor plates were made to go over the "naked" torso of the model.

The DP looks kinda small compare to the Chaos aligned troopers, but it doesn't matter his coolness factor is still high up there

I think I said when this guy first appeared on these boards one of the beauties of this kit is that you can make individual models Sooo different you wouldn't even know they had come from the same kit.

He's a nice model in his non-40K form and looks to be even better when all 'marined up' might get a couple for my Daemons.

Expect him with the 2nd wave of Daemon models which might be towards the end of this year or early 2010.

I bloomin hope not I'am not sure I'll be able to wait that long before my head implodes through lack of chaos stimulation .
I'll have to change my sig to "will exchange sexual favours for plastic Daemon prince " and see if that help me get one sooner, either that or I'll end up with a sore jaw lol.

Very nice. I actually let out a little whimper of excitement when I saw those pics. What harry says about not having seen all the options is exciting too, hopefully there will be power-specific parts. Shame the release date isn't til 2010, but hey it'll give me time to the orks before I get distracted with chaos

So far we can see:
Legs (Armored thighs and loincloth)
Tail (Armored or scaled, hard to tell which)
Torso (Bare and what looks like an armored chest
Back (Wings, spikes, backpack pieces)
Right arm (Curved sword, Ax, hand with bracer and shoulderpad)
Left arm (Open hand with bracelet, open hand with bracer)
Head (Spikes up, curved horns, forehead spike forward)

I expect there may also be some more hand options, a couple more weapons like a whip for a Slannesh and a Staff for Tzeench, another tail or two, and some more heads, including some god specific ones.

Y'know, I wouldn't mind getting one... and I don't even play Chaos.

It really looks like a nice kit and if it has even half the options that Harry alludes to (and I'm not one to doubt the Pie-man), it's going to be pretty epic.

Some of the parts would make great pieces to convert a soulgrinder some, like different arms and hands.

Looks amazing. Maybe the delay was that they didn't originally intend to make it have 40k sprues?

But I'll definitely get one. Like the above poster said, it would be nice if the thing came with some head options that were clearly aligned to the 4 gods. So incredibly want a nice tzeentchy prince.

No, it couldn't. Why?

Lets get the checklist out:

• Two large Daemon Axes.
• Khornate iconography
• Wings (admittedly torn and faded, but Wings nonetheless)
• Bloodthirster style Head
• Khorne imagery.

I see none of the above, so chances are it's the plastic Daemon Prince, presumably with a spiced up sprue and a Red Paint Job. Of course, if it is meant to be Skarbrand... it's the worst model GW have ever produced.
