it is looking to be pretty good. The dead orks are a great touch. I like the "come get some" pose on the guy with the flamethrower.

Any chance on a guide of how you bake the diorama base in itself? What material and what not.
And this diorama looks very very nice, the painting is fantastic. Looking forward to seeing the command squad painted.
New plog is up, check it out.

Woa! Those looks great! Can't wait untill they're done!
Mini update, the officer is done. Your run of the mill chap complete with stiffy features, gel & combed hair with a a walking stick and a laspistol. I've also added some gold rims on the shoulder pads to state his status. The cloak is obtained from the sniper in the IG command sprue.
I used Miliput to sculpt the terrain and form the holes, other bitz like the sticks are from tamiya terrains, barb wires from GW, metal plate & stones from GW's basing kit.Any chance on a guide of how you bake the diorama base in itself? What material and what not.

Excellent diorama so far MrChaos.
Can you tell me what the base is made of? Foamboard? Wood?
Thanks a lot![]()
Wow this is looking great. I too would love to know what the diorama base is made from.
My only qualm is that orks are notorious for taking punishment and i have a hard time believing a knife to the gut would stop that one in its tracks.
PS. Any chance of a tut on how you paint skin?
It's coming along nicely my friend, i'm sure it's going to be awesome
A quick tutorial of how you paint skin would be great, I love the look...
i love the fight between guardsmen and orc..or better...the decapitated guardsmen puts a grin on my face and very well pulled off :-)
though i think a decapitation would call out a little more blood..i don't know it´, so leave it as it is :-)
good idea and your painting is quite as good :-)
so this diorama will look great in the end, i know it
