As I've promised before, I'm starting a log of all my Necromunda things. That will be alot, so expect tons of pics in a short time!
I have two gangs - the 'Stray Dogs' - a PDF deserter gang that I'm using with the Unknown Warriors rules, and the 'Red Wings', a House Escher gang. Right now I'm starting a new one - I don't know yet what gang list to use for them, they will be a bunch of post-apocalyptic punks 'n skinheads.
Let's go on to the pics - to be polite with the gals, I'll show you the Eschers first.

Loving the sledge hammer guy and the post apocalyptic guns, but the juve with the demonette head is freaking ridiculous. its just insanely disproportionate, which is a shame as i had wondered if the demonette heads would work on escher gangers myself. still keep up the good stuff mate.

Yup, that head-body combination is just...wrong. I have to find some other body, 'coz I want that punk girl in my gang!

I've done the list for the last gang:

A few days ago, I was really in the mood for doing some Necromunda things, so I took my Redemptionist gang from the depths of my bits box, stripped the paint and assembled/converted 'em again!

The new list is:

Thanks! Well, in the past few years, I wasn't able to play any games with them, since there's no real Necromunda 'scene' in Hungary
But I'll be moving to the UK soon(ish), and I'll take 'em with me, hoping to get some opponents...

Wow, it's been AGES since I updated this log - and no progress on the Redemptionists, AND I actually removed some of 'em from their bases to start my new gang with the Heresy trenchcoat gangers I got at Salute.

Sooo...I present...the Rustden Bastards! Delaques, of course...


As you can see, mostly the original models - except from a weapon swap, and a bit of conversion on the leader.

Chains - heavy

Those two guys - formerly known as troopers Alexei and Ivan Vorosh - are the only ones with military experience in the gang. The brothers served together in the 72th Ferrograd, 'til they deserted after ambushing their commissar and beating him to death with his own bolter. Alexei (now known as Aquila) helped himself to his weapons and cap as trophies...

At the end of the first day of painting, a quick and pretty bad progress pic...skin done (didn't exactly turn out the way I wanted, but it looks bloody cool anyway - the flash kinda kills the effect in the picture) + base colors for coat and pants - yeah, they will have coats like my Malifaux minis with less cartoonish highlights, and jeans.
Better photos might be comin' tomorrow...

Well, technically it's not 'tomorrow', but here's an update - coats and some random stuff done. And started some neon-ish OSL on a base. (pictures from Google+ 'til I can log on to Imageshack again)




And two freehands...the third will be a confederate flag on Scraps' back. Now you can see why the leader is called Aquila...

I'm pretty proud of the freehand on Rebel's back, since it's the first time I could paint a circle that doesn't look meh...and the imperial eagle turned out alright too.


And something great...I have a new table (so now I can have my laptop and my "painting space" on the table at the same time), and a new way to store my stuff instead of a big cardboard box!
So, I present "Workspace 2.0". In a few days I might order a painting station from HobbyZone...
