LOL. Silly fools.
Very nice paint job.
Though in latin "vires" means "strengths" not "might"
"might", in latin, is "vis"

here is a link to a site i used, where it says it means; force, power, strength, might, influence
http://www.translation-guide.com/fre...glish&to=Latin
I don't want to be picky, and don't want to hijack your awsome thread, but Vis (which means strength, might, and such) is a word of the second declination, and goes like so:
Singular:
vis = strength
roboris = of the strength
robori = at the strength
vim = strength (as object of an action)
vis = oh (my dear) strength
vi = for/to the strength
plural
vires = strengths
virium = of the strengths
viribus = at the strengths
vires = strengths (as objects of an action)
vires = oh (my dear) strengths
viribus = for/to the strengths
In Italy, latin (and ancient greek) is one of the languages they make us study at school, so I am pretty certain of what I am talking about.
sorry for the hijack
cheers
Never mind.
I didn't mean to offend anybody.
I already said how much I like the titans and the whole army.
I just wanted to point out a mistake.
Sorry
cheers

Hi all, Here are some pics of my Ultramarines. The force is not finished yet by a long shot.This is the strike force to go with my UDF.

Could you take a group shot with the titans too? That would be sooooo awesome. Otherwise really great project and you paint well too, subscribed.

Very cool and great paint jobs. That army cries out for an Apoc game against a big Nid force on a snow covered polar board.![]()
It is better to have a gun and not need it rather than need a gun and not have it.
Pictures of wholly painted armies are always an amazing sight to behold (not to mention two reaver titans). As you are making polar defense force, I think snowy board and bases would be more suitable![]()
Mate, In the nicest possible way, your post seems to be nothing but picky.
I don't understand why its such an issue for you.
All you have done is dulled the tone of the thread, your input is just unhelpful, which isn't really in the spirit of the forums is it? The Titans look awesome, surely that should be enough?

Thanks again for all the kind words![]()
Honestly I don't think you should have: I'd probably redo the part on the model after reading this (if my handwriting would ever alow me to paint (or write) neatly on a miniature in the first place, hehe). Besides, you apoligized beforehand by not meaning to hijack the thread. My two cents.
Ontopic: awesome models mate, I absolutely love the two reaver titans, and with the current exchange rate, at 450 euro's per model, I might even buy my own eventually! However I must say they look a little flat; have you ever considered giving them a (pin) wash with thinned down oil paint? See Bungaroo's Krieg log for a tuturial: http://www.warseer.com/forums/showth...126013&page=13 It worked wonders for my vehicles and gives so much better results then using a GW wash imho
Overal I love your army, can't wait to see it all based and lined up with the titans for some awesome photo's!
Cheers![]()
