The bonebreaker/griffon thing is excellently done, thats a really creative use of parts to get the theme in. I like your cultists a lot too, some of the poses are spot on like the guy pulling the sword from the scabbard. I have never made a warband but seeing how good yours are I might try my own.

I think the red is actually very fitting for Witch Hunters as they like to use fire as a tool for witch hunting. They're looking great but their bases could do with some attention!

I am at a summer course and have no internets where I live so right now im writing this from the library. These screens dont have any USB plugs so there won't be any updates until I go home where there's proper internet. And if i dont go home there wont be any updates in at least 6-7 weeks. No worries though. im still working on them painting when i have time!

Ok, so I got a connection! Here are some of the slaves/cultists painted but like everything else they're not based yet these are 15 of 29 so the rest will come in a future update. I have two cultists left to paint before I move on to some stormvermins.
Also some more work has been done on the bases. these have better texture than the first one i posted but I'm not yet where I want to be with the bases. I want more debris and different levels rather than a flat stone surface.

The cultists are great dude! If you want bases like that, there's a guy on Warseer that makes and sells plaster casts of cobbled street bases. Boreas something or other, they guy with the awesome Stirland log.

I have checked out Boreas bases, they look nice but they are not really what i'm looking for. They look too neat and tidy plus they are at an angle. I want my bases to be something like these city rubble bases but square ofcourse. and more medieval or mordheimy.



Here are nine more cultists/slaves. I only have the Motherkin left to do now. I'm considering to repaint the fur on the skaven i've already painted to make them more diverse and less fleshy. It shouldn't be too much work. Next up though is Stormvermins!
I paint about 1½ minis a day during this summer. I get up early (for me) in the morning so I can paint for about 40-60 minutes before I go to the summer course where I learn how to sculpt a anatomically correct human body called Ecorché.

What a freaky bunch of individuals...for some reason, they remind me of the assorted crazies from Bioshock. Anyway, keep up the good work (1 1/2 minis a day! Wish I could be that productive)

well, then wait no further, they are almost fininshed apart from the base! =P


So the unit leader, the motherkin is done. the eyes look a little better IRL.


Here are the cultists together. They look a little derpy with their wild eyes IMO.


So, I have started working on the stormvermins. I plan to give them puffy arms and some of them got Halberds from the state troopers box. I need more feathery hats! I guess I have to make them myself. At least the champion needs a hat. Can't look worse than the clanrats!

So, I fininshed the green stuffing on the Stormvermin. Now I'll add a hat to the standard bearer and then I'll paint them.

Cool! For your next unit, you should try using some Empire banners, maybe paint them as defaced, y'know, painting skaven symbols over the Empire insignia.

I have thought about it and I guess I could give it a try. After all, I have like three empire banners lying around.


Here is some more Mordheim stuff. A female Witch hunter. It's converted from the plastic Dark Elf Sorceress and two guns from the Empire handgunner kit. The sword and the bullets come from that kit too. The rest is green stuff. the sword, bullets and ponytail are only blu-tacked in place. the pony tail comes from the goblin wolf rider kit. I'm thinking about adding a belt across her left shoulder with some pouches and stakes or whatnot.

She looks fantastic, I would never have thought to covert the Sorceress into a Witch Hunter. And her pose lends itself nicely to a gunslinging one too.

Wo Nordic you work gets better and better. Love your slaves. The cage is very cool.
The the female with hunter is very cool Must have taken some time to sculpt. I would do a shoulder belt yes. But I would also give a bit bigger breasts, why because you can and it is fantasy. Will keep following your plog.

Love the witch hunter, good work. I like the breasts as they are, they look in proportion with the rest of the model. Any bigger and she's in danger of getting her own mysterious cult following, a mordheim gang of chaotic breast worshippers. I can just imagine a geeky band now slinking around now, trying to sneak a peek.
