Just got back from Hocking Hills. Beautiful bit of country in southern Ohio. Anyway, heres some pictures of half my artillery train, the hot pots and keg chucker. I use the the mortar and rocket battery rules for them. The dwarf cook is an old citadel model that I could not resist using.

Awesome! Those are going to be some really great units to see on a tabletop

Those pictures turned out pretty well, too, keep doing them outside

These keep me wondering why exactly do you have 500 halflings? But then again looking the pictures and thinking how nice it would be to win a game with these chaps explains it all.

That's a great army, the cockatrice is my favorite. I think I couldn't resist to make clucking sounds everytime I'd move him.

Simply amazing! Re:your first pic, When you have two of the same models, my tip is to not accentuate it by placing them side-by-side.

This army is fantastic. The Halflings were a great range, particularly the Hot Pot!

Thanks everyone for the lighting tips. Here are a few pictures of the rest of my artillery train. Also, I'm looking for two more cockatrices, if anyone wants to get rid of them pm me. Thanks.

Incredibly cool army project. How did acquire these masses of Halfling minis and how long did it take you?

The conversion of the big barrel lobber is very cool and so is indeed the rest of the army. You have to keep this project going; it will be a memorable army.

Its taken me about two and a half years to collect them. As to getting my hands on them I did every trick I could think of. Right before GW stopped selling bitz I convinced my lovely wife to let me make a large purchase of them from the GW site. That got me about a third of them. The rest I bought from Ebay, my local store, and bartertown. I also found a good use for White Dwarf. I used the retailer list and called every retailer in 5 states to see if they had any left. Maybe tonight while Im waiting for the greenstuff to dry Ill take a group shot of all the halflings.

Great project bloke! Just one question: What on earth is a keg chucker? How does it work and what does it do?

OMG! This is so ******** crazy!!!!
    Awesome lot of halflings!

Could you take some pics to the knights? (I think the little chariots in the back of the pics are the knights, aren't they?)

    Great stuff!!

A keg chucker is the name I gave my counts as rocket battery.

Heres some pictures of my first version of knights. I'll probably use them as Inner Circle Knights now that I have come up with a second version knights that dont require me to build mini chariots. The last picture is my current test model for them.

    Fantastic!

I used to have a army of halfings aswell. I had about 150 or so and I sold them on here last year actually.

Great looking army hope to see them finished.

    Thanks.
