Unfortunately they wrote you and me off a long time ago, given that we've been playing for more than 3 months. We're far too cost-inefficient given that we aren't buying whole armies every month, and that we have annoying habits like "quality expectations", and "price awareness", and "opinions".
@Commisar Merces - I apologize, my comment was not intended to come out like it did. I suppose that'll teach me not to post at 3 AM. I was trying to say something like, "If you just accept that, you'll get no sympathy from me."

I thought that post seemed a little out of character for you, Caiphas. Glad to hear it was sleep-deprivation talking.![]()
To be fair on the scenery the only people it would affect are new people getting into the hobby assuming they want too. Lets face it any vet would have bought loads of scenery while it was at a stupidly low price. Yeah its expensive now but how many vets are gonna buy more that they cant have?
So got my rule book turned in. The store had to open 3 more before they found an untrained one. Unreal
Had the rulebook in my hand today, the one from my local store. The binding already came apart at some areas, some pages were blurry. I would not pay 60€ for that.
Sounds like the cost and quality of GW products are heading in opposite directions fast. Price has been putting people off for years (in increasing numbers). First the FC debarcle and now this - how long before the level of quality becomes an equal turn off?
Member of J.A.D.E.DTrying to convince Warseer that GW are anything less than perfect is like trying to teach a horde of zombies that lettuce is a perfectly acceptable alternative to brains.
Lest we forget
Still waiting for my BRB. If it turns out like that, it's going straight back again.

And other people were in the shop exchanging theirs as well. What a *********** nightmare. Personally, if I was a gw employee I would be embarrassed.
Yes, three other players had the same problem. In total my store lost 7 books today due to damage. Other gamers did not have their preorders come, only pieces of their order come in. Some didn't even get their order and have just been notified they will come the 6th. In short, it was an absolute failure. Trying to get through the rules was ridiculous as no one could figure much out due to the FAQ's being so bad.
The word disaster only scratches the surface.

The FAQs are to bring the Codices in line with the BRB (at this stage)

"The Emperor is obviously not a dictator, he's a couch."
Starbuck: "Why can't we use the starboard launch bays?"
Engineer: "Because it's a gift shop!"
For such a big/important release I would have thought it would have been better planned. I wonder if this will have an impact on GW's future? If the problems like the FAQ's aren't fixed quickly and to a decent level, I can imagine it would create many problems for their (from what I am aware) flagship-game. Not to mention the quality issues and other problems.
I did.I think you might have missed his follow up post just above yours. It looks like we posted within a couple of minutes of each other, so his post didn't show up.
