Nope, the doors and shutters are fixed... Hinges just would be too big. I have toyed with the idea for a while though... Thanks for the feedback! Are those doors and shutters actually movable so you can decide either to open some up and close them in the next game?
Your thread is the reason i registered on warseer so i could rate you five stars! You have just taken these to a new level of awesomeness, and I have rated you at a 5. Ah, and thank you indeed... Your comment got me thinking (again) and I decided the doors and shutters should indeed be movable... Fortunately I had a bit of plastic tubing lying around... So after a bit of breaking I fitted both doors and all shutters with hinges...Quote Are those doors and shutters actually movable so you can decide either to open some up and close them in the next game?

The front door, both open and closed (now we can play some stupid knock knock jokes)
All shutters can now be opened and closed, giving some much needed cover to those cowering Marienburgers and the girly henchmen of Vlad the Vegan (oh yes, that's how we call the Vampire of Malcador)...
Your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think, and, if you're feeling adventurous, feel free to rate my thread...

Your work is simply marvelous!
I don't even play Mordheim (I don't even have anyone to play against) but my fingers are itching to make a Mordheim table.
Looking forward to see it all painted.
Keep up the good work!

They look great.
The only thing I can think of is to add bricks or stones sticking out of the wall's edges where the walls have broken.
Maybe some lanterns too?

IMHO, vary the shade of the wood stain/paint.....building to building. It should add to the "storyline" the buildings tell about the life of the town.
I am therefore I think OR I think therefore I am?
What Crazy Harborc said.

*cry* You make me a sad puppy boreas, I will never have the energy to do something like that.. but I WANT to.. =(
more paint on those buildings!!! =)

A few other pics... One close up of the door, not yet finished, but already looking good...
And two of the whole structure. I've attached the building to it's base. It just needs a little more detailing and it should be done... Just remember, the doors and shutters can all be opened, but for some vague reason it looks better when they're closed...
Your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think, and, if you're feeling adventurous, feel free to rate my thread...

Looking great so far!
A few ideas that spontaneously came to my mind:
-wash the metal areas with Badab Black and Ogryn Flesh to make them look old and well-used (I'm sure you've planned that anyways...)
-add some weathering to the lower part of the building; again, washes will be your friend, maybe some green and brown in the recesses to represent dirt and moss and suchlike
Cheers,

HELP NEEDED!!!
This afternoon I've started furnishing my building. You kow, put in a few boxes, maybe a cupboard or two... I've also painted up a bed and I want your opinion...
Does the bed get to stay or not?
Both cupboards are already fixed to the house, the bed is still movable (or 'losable' if you hate it...)
Your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think, and, if you're feeling adventurous, feel free to rate my thread...

Woah! Where'd you get the cupboards, chamber pots, and the bed? They look awesome (that means keep the bed, by the way).
My only complaint is that the building looks a little plain with just white and brown on the outside (I realize it's historically accurate, but your buildings are crazy, unbalanced, and chaotic and I think the colours should match).
Here's a concept sketch for Warhammer: Age of Reckoning to illustrate some more colourful buildings (maybe something to use for other buildings' paintjobs).
The red along with the different coloured shingles and window panes really make the buildings look individual - I realize your buildings don't have window panes but a little colour here and there would certainly add to the overall feel.
Keep it up - I'm very anxious to see the whole thing painted!
Looking for as many of the Bretonnian Knight unicorn head transfers as I can get. Please PM me if you have extras!
