I'm still 1 Bolter short, and I'll post him as soon as I think of a good conversion. After that I'm gonna work on my Icon bearer and then a squad of noise marine.

That is one crazy colour scheme!! Looks pretty good though, I really like the conversion work, and the way the helmets have been painted really stands out.

Just a quick update. My last Bolter for this squad. I had in mind an EC CSM with influence from Dark Eldar design- something I had in mind ever since I started the project.

So here is my Icon Bearer. Pieced together from several different models. I don't think I'll paint him for a while.. he looks so.. challenging . Think i'll do a couple more conversions before heading back to him.

A quick update:

So right now I have the project in pending, waiting for my paycheck so I can grab a box of Noise Marines. Mean while I'm looking through my bits and stuff to see how I can convert them to slaanesh cultist/daemonette and stuff.

I mentioned earlier that my EC are influenced by Dark Eldar design, but forgot to list out the other influences that makes up the core design of my army.

-Colors blue, purple, and gold, with some yellow and red.
-Gems, tentacles, and tongues made of GS.
-Imperial Eagles (in mockery of EC's old role)
-Symbol of Slaanesh in it's bi-gender form, number 6, Roman VI, symbol of the warp, and also Chinese character/Japanese Kanji of demon/Oni
-Purple flame, I use that symbol to represent desire, passion, and pleasure.
-The Gaping Maw- two of my EC have the symbol of Gaping maw on their leg, representing extra strength and dark blessing.
-Partial possession are found on my Lord and Champion, giving them uniqueness above the rest of the army.

Still waiting for friday so I can get my paycheck- I think meanwhile I'll paint up my Icon Bearer and Champion, and do sketches for my daemonette squad.

Got really busy in the last few days so I did not paint too much, but managed to finish 1 and 3/4 of these little guys.



I got fed up painting the Icon Bearer and decided to leave him for a while.

I'm gonna start my Champion tomorrow, found a nice pink color I want to try out. Hopefully it'll work out.

Also I need to start getting fluff for my guys soon.. hehe.

Yay I finally finished my Aspiring Champion... and I'm very bi-polar on this guy, I totally love it and hate it at the same time.



I think the problem is I was so excited about the pink idea I tried too hard to make it work. In the end it's like the Pink Spartan- no one will take him seriously.



My next two guys, one on the left is w/Sonic weapon, older version SM backpack. The one of the right will be using older version of SM Bolter.

ps. Oops, I forgot he's not finished, I forgot that my backpack is not finished- just the sun came out very nice at the time and I didn't want to miss that chance.

The champion looks good, very bright, lots of colours. I like the way the pink blends into a purple. And nice hand flamer!

My first attempt to Noise Marines- the Sonic Blaster is self made.

Now I have a question for you gamers- The old noise Marines come with guitars, is that a sonic blaster? Or something not used anymore in the newer codex? Can I mix blasters and guitars in the same squad?

Update! I discover I'm at a rate of 1 CSM per 4 days since i'm taking my sweet sweet time... The guys are coming along nicely- so far no major problem- but i'm stuck on deciding what to get next

1- Terminator
2- Dreadnought
3- LandRaider
What do you guys think?
