Thanks for the feed back. I named the gunner/musician Barbara because St. Barbara was the patron saint of artillerymen and military engineers. The Exorcist was named after a pretty strange cartoon movie I watched when I was younger.

Thanks, I did it to represent the Extra Armor upgrade I always put on the tank as well as to bulk out the front to look a little more AV13. I am pleased with the end result. Though I may do something a little different when I make another one, just so they do not look too alike.

those are some nice troops and creative work you've done there. i just started up a small froce of sisters that i hope i can make into a sizable army.

i've just been trying to think of ways to be creative with them since they are all pretty much metal and dont have alot of poses.

i also really like the canoness with her Big ****in Gun. that was nice

The easiest Sisters to modify, unfortunately, are the Seraphem, but some of the Sisters superior can work too. I would highly recommend getting some type of hobby saw though. It will make conversions much easier.

Just a quick update. I decided on the design I wanted to put on hem of my Sisters Superiors' robes. I also finally remembered to photograph the under side of Zoot's sword. Plus a quick sketch of the weapon I am considering making for my saint based on the nemesis force weapon, (and the arm too).

Some good work on a rather neglected army. The stonework you've done looks great. Not something I've seen before. I like it.

Are you referring to the stone work on the exorcist? It took a few hours but was well worth the effort. The main difficulty was getting the detail to pop-out without painting it a different color.

Thanks. I would not worry about the time. This army was about six years in the making. Part of the problem was wanting to make every sister a little different.

Here are a few pictures of the new model to use as my Inquisitor Lord, Autumn DeFey the Neon Inquisitor. I finished this awhile ago, but I still need to carve it a base like the first one.

Re: The Neon Inquisitor Progress log

Here are some pictures of the Saint I have been working on. I am not sure about the wings yet. Mainly because the decaying one is so out of proportion to the other one. I am thinking of experimenting with the other Pegasus wing to see if I can make it look decayed.

Also I have almost finished work on the Eldar Objective. I am still working on a helmet to add to the base, and I plan on making a singing spear for the base too. That way if I ever decide to make an Eldar army I will already have a nice Farseer to go with it.

I have been working on some side projects and have not been able to get much painting in. I have been able to work on sculpting some bits for my objectives so attached are the base one and the head sculpting of another. I am trying to get the head to look like a certain politician, but I am still not a hundred percent on it.

This is one of the other projects I have been working on. I am happy I was able to finish it before the new book comes out. A friend of mine donated the Genestealer for this project.

Love the winged jump pack, the convertion is flawless.
When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep, like my grandfather. Not screaming like the other people in his car.

Got those old 5th edition lizardmen collecting dust? PM me, I really need more metal skinks with javelins.

Re: The Neon Inquisitor Progress log

@ Hicks: Thank you sir. I actually decided to swap in the other plastic Pegasus wing, partially because of the size issue, but more so it's weight would be balanced. I will post some pics after I have worked on it a little more.

For now I worked on my Vindicare Assassin some more. Mainly re-working the arms and giving her a cloak. I hope to prime all of my current assassins tomorrow, so I can paint them and swap them in and out of army lists.

I also worked my self up to start working on the Immolator again, and it is going pretty quick, so pictures of it should be up soon.

Still working on the Immolator. I am close to finished, but after the fun I had with the Exorcist I wanted to try some ambitious freehand. This is what I have worked up in an hour, but it will need a few more before it is finished.

    Comments are welcome.

I think I have finished the free hand. I just need to clean up the outside edges with black. I am hoping the rest will go smoothly and I can finish it up over the weekend.

Re: The Neon Inquisitor Progress log

Here is one of the things that has been taking up my time. This will be used as an objective when needed.

The fluff is he is a Vice-High Lord who has been known to frequently use Officio Assassinorum Assassins to deal with enemies of Terra, (or those he deems are). However due to this he is a high priority target for all enemies of mankind, (or at least in his mind), and has taken to hiding in undisclosed locations for his safety.
The Neon Inquisitor has been known to protect these locations once they have been discovered. The reason for this is because of her own frequent use of Assassins and the major clout the Vice-High Lord has with the Officio, So by protecting him, requisitioning the services of Assassins is made easier.

Also taking up my time is the work I have been doing off and on for this other objective counter. His name is Col' Ga' Te and I will give the rest of his background fluff when I am finished with him, which will hopefully be over the weekend.

Re: The Neon Inquisitor Progress log

I finished the Immolator. I am happy with the final result of it. I should finish Col'Ga'Te later today. My next painting project will be to update my old squad of Sisters to the new paint scheme and standard, and to start work on the Objectives.

Its not often a 'SOB' thread misses my radar for so long, but some how yours has slipped in like a stealthed Callidus for too long.

First and foremost... your conversion and sculpting skills are very impressive indeed. I am hugely impressed by your head work and also the scrolling that you achieved on your kitbashed immolator.

The painting is spot on, and in your msot recent submission the level of detail and painting skill is exemplarary. I particularly like the work you have done on the screens, the NMM gold all over the vehicle, and the quality you have achieved on the black, a colour so many people struggle to paint.

Kudos where it is due. You are building up and incredible looking set of figures.

Re: The Neon Inquisitor Progress log

Thanks for the complements, I have been working with green stuff for awhile now, but I have recently been trying to expand my skill set with it to full figures.

The strange thing is I actually used metallic gold on the immolator, (except for the freehand bit), but for some reason it does not show up well in the pictures, (especially the close up of the driver.)

I also did some more work on the Saint's jump-pack and weapon, inished the helmet for the Eldar Objective, and finished Col'Ga'te, but I am going to be working on transferring all my files over to a photo hosting site so I can upload them as URLs for easier viewing.
