Deathstrike Missile launcher

I have been wanting to do a Deathstrike missle launcher for a while. The thing is, I couldn't find a missile that looked the part. As I was looking though my bits box I found an old 1/48 ME-163 rocket interceptor kit I have had for a few years. For those of you wondering what an ME-163 is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Me_163

This airplane kit has always had me intrigued. I have wanted to use it in 40k for a while now, but I was unsure as to what to use it as. It is too large for a grot bomb launcher, and too small for an actual fighter plane. So, my question to you all is, Is it too dark for the Imperial Guard to have a suicide-bomber? Basically, a chimera hull with a launch ramp will carry a plane around, and a suicide pilot would crash it into the enemy.

Why not use it as a emegency intercepter like the the real one is. Liek a fighter that gets carried on the chimera but if reports of enemy bombers get reported it gets sent up to kill it? Just my 2 cents.

Don't have a real suicide pilot in there, use a servitor instead.

I like both the above posters ideas, but Tema's seems a bit like what the Imperium would do, if you want it to be a suicide plane. However, if you want it to be a normal interceptor plane, then go with what Ghaust said. Personally, I'm liking Ghaust's idea, of using it like it was used in real life.

I would recamend checking out this thread if you haven't already. I used it as a guide and got some great results. Also, the kit he uses to get the missiles from can be found pretty cheap on Ebay.
