Saw a Mordheim Kislevite Bear Tamer and Bear sell for £80+ a month or so back. Also saw a large lot of Ash Waste Nomads for Necromunda go for around £300-400.

Apparently being rare hides the fact the models looked terrible.

Its quite an entertaining shop actually, £14 for a heavy weapon squat.

On Chaos Dwarf Online she is known as SWSNBN (she who shall not be named) and is notorious for her high prices and there is a hugh thread about her and her prices

Saw this today, apparently it's almost impossible to order one from GW's collector's range.
    Oh wait... no it's not.

I must confess it's very easy to get carried away - I nearly paid over the odds for a mini yesterday. It was only that I checked GW's online store just before placing my bid that I realised that the price it was at (including postage) was the same as I could get it for from GW

The problem was it was not a well known, or regularly seen mini...

GW are sneakily updating their bits and old model range over time on their website, and if traders and buyers are not keeping up with that then you can potentially get a bit ripped off.

To me, if someone wants to pay a stupid price for a model, let them.

What gets me are people purposefully listing items as OOP, GD painted etc, when actual effect they aren't Not every gamer has some encyclopedic knowledge of products, but being an ass and trying to milk a little extra cash out of something by misinformation irritates me.

The old true OOP shop collectors are also a little bit aggravating too.

it annoys me more when people dont want to pay good money for genuine OOP, they seem to think that because its OOP you'll just give em it, i pulled my RT Guard from ebay after some stupid offers.

That is a cracking model, though. That, the blacksmiths, the water well and the cottage and you've got a nice table set up. just wish there were a few more cottages and houses....

Re: "Oh god that cant be right" ebay auction thread

I have to be careful with Ebay, i got 5 meganobz off there and after i paided for shipping i saw that I had only saved around 2 pounds and I would still have to strip these minis.
So times its just worthing getting it form GW or a discount shop.
Although that same day I got 3 kans for £15 which saved me quite alot so sometimes it evens out.

One thing I've found interesting is the influx of Chinese painters in the past few months, it seems like if you search warhammer on ebay about 3/4 of the results are Chinese

WoW someone paided that much. The paintjob is good but its not that good. Also the conversion I find less detailed and more staic compared to the actually GW team.

I think they are pants compared to the games workshop team. What a rip off, the poor fool who brought those obviously didn't bother checking out the available models.

This ones kind of funny too

Blimey. I've got some of those 5th ed Sauruses in a box at home, maybe I could clip off the weapons and get £100 for them...
