OLIVERASO I don't see how you conclude GW is saying it is 'legal' to recast unreleased models.

They say it is a not-for-sale model, they decline commenting whether it is truely unreleased and note they don't give quality assurance cover on those basis. There is no implication, let alone mention, of legality. Perhaps GW do want to chase this, but they want to keep their investigations quiet? Or perhpas it is too small fry for their interest (at the moment). I dunno.

That said, the seller seems like a (insert family friendly expletive here); 1) you should point out his certainty that GW will test for authenticity for alleged unreleased models is unbased (you've got evidence for this in the email GWlegal sent you). 2) he says he expects careful testing of the model; sounds like he wants the materials to be tested. To do this would require a sample from the model (ie damaging it), making it impossible to '[return] the item back to my address in perfect condition[sic]'... he's basically set up a Catch 22 there for ya

I'm interested in how this develops so do keep us posted.

In my times trying to find some of the rarer Mordheim figures I've seen some pretty "oh god that can't be right" prices...

However what surprises me the most is the amount of Aenur's there are about.
Sure, he was given away free with White Dwarf, but surely everyone who wants one has one now.

You are right. But what they didn't say is interesting.
I ask about an recast of unreleased miniatures. The answer is : "speak with the ebay seller". From what I can understant, the recast of unreleased stuff isn't interesting for GW ..... but I hope I am wrong. Will wait for the answer of the IP department.


Now .... I just receive an answer from paypal ; and they are asking an paper from GW proving that the miniature is a fake, before the 2 of august.
So.... everything stop here ! I have left an negatice feedback for the seller, and that will be all ...... and I will avoid now netherland.

EDIT POST OF THE 1 AUGUST : The seller is now threatening me by email to close the paypal complaint .

Just the wrong picture. Message them and they'll change it if they can. The TrollTrader is a good seller. I've dealt with them many, many times without ever having a single issue.

Ive delt with him before and had my feed back read something along the lines of "Any, yes i say ANY skink troll gobbo or elf should deal with this buyer"

TrollTrader has an automated feedback thingy which draws from a range of pre-determined positive feedbacks. Don't take that as a bad thing though. They have a lot of sales for a good reason. Always my first port of call for any Avatars of War, Maxmini or Kromlech stuff in the UK.
