When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep, like my grandfather. Not screaming like the other people in his car.
Got those old 5th edition lizardmen collecting dust? PM me, I really need more metal skinks with javelins.

I'm hoping to stay motivated to finish painting an army, or three.... (Update: 10/1/09!)

As T-Tauri answered only if seller shows it.
Spend any amount of time browsing Ebay and you'll tons of stuff like this, including other sellers that list current plastic kits as RARE, OOP, Limited Release and other such fabrications.
Hopefully not too many people are stung by it, but such is life I guess.

I've seen craploads of stuff on eBay marked as OOP when it's not. I'm wondering if people selling stuff on eBay actually know what it means or if they're just including it because most other listings have it!
You'll see loads of stuff listed that shouldn't be, some is admittedly buried in one of the collectors sections on the GW site, but others are actually listed normally! Seen a number of Dwarf Slayer "OOP" musicians, even though it's the exact one included in the command set. As well as "OOP" "champions" which are no longer in the command set, but are sold separately on the GW site as Daemon/Dragon Slayers!
As for "Oh God that can't be right" sales, I saw a sale of one of the White Dwarf subscription minis (the current aviator one) go for over £20! I'm interested in the mini, but the same again I'd rather just get the two year subscription!
I've got an item on eBay, including my delivery costs, that is currently at a higher price than it costs to buy in a GW (Or buy it online, including delivery, from GW, or even less from a discounted retailer). I could understand jittery buyers making this mistake in the heat of the moment in the closing seconds, but this is within 1 day of the auction, with 4 days left. And I've even taken a few things off the sprues! Madness!![]()
check out this, i think the paint job is alright, but 40 quid!???

In fairness it is pretty well painted, but I can't imagine that colour scheme is going to fit in with many armies though, which makes the asking price quite weird. I mean, painting is a time consuming activity, and if you put effort in then it's only natural to expect that you're adding value to the model, but not everyone's going to feel the same, so asking for £40 up front is a bit of a cheek!
If it was the colour scheme I wanted, and I didn't mind paying to skip having to paint it myself, then £40 isn't that unreasonable. But painting is part of the fun of the hobby for me, and I like slightly unusual colour schemes![]()

I think your right. It's that olive drab loin cloth that gives it away.
Base coat, a quick dip then a coat or two of matte varnish and its done.
But hey, at least the postage is free!!!!

I'd avoid it simply because the quantity is 2. I always feel uneasy when something painted is in multiples.
Plus the fact that anyone who wants something painted like that wants more than one model.
Well he may be asking for a lot but isn't being misleading.
Regardless of how much skill it did or didn't take it does look decent, and that is what is important. I just don't get the look down on something because it isn't challenging mentality, rather than judging something on it's own merits.
