They are not shabby, but are they £127 good?

Probably. Two quid - or more - a figure, IIRC and £3 each for painting. As for the bases, if I were selling painted models on spec, I'd do that too - it's easier for prospective buyers to base them up to their own specifications. Rebasing figures is a nightmare, and almost impossible to do without damaging the paintwork on the feet.
£32 for the NIB unit actually, so £95 (or £4 per mini) for the paint job. There is a really nicely painted unit of Immortal plastic hoplites on auction that is £67 atm. I guess we'll see if they get a nibble at £127 and then we'll know if they are worth it! The ancients collectors market is quite robust, so maybe - tends to be older gamers and collectors who have more money and less time I think so are prepared to pay for painting services.
The basing argument holds to a certain extent but not when they are already glued to round bases which would have to be removed and rebased for most 28mm ancients rules sets.
Does state that the bases aren't included though...
to be fair the painting isn't bad (I've seen alot worse sell for a lot more) and I'd want them unbased because those bases are terrible. you can buy pre-made pre-painted bases for a small price.

This thread reminds me of the time I won an auction for around £20 for 2 predator tanks and 2 rhino tanks. I was chuffed until they turned up in an envelope.
EPIC fail.

More than 40 manhours went into the building of this monstrosity and it's design is loosely based on several concept sketches from a variety of artists.
Monstrosity is right.
Gooseberry yoghurt is just .... wrong
This one stood out immediately
That's ummmm. It looks a "bit" like a catachan in the pilot's seat, and it certainly looks very "similar" to the clearly original, uninspired by anything ever before brand new GW flyer, but there's something fishy going on. I wonder when the producers of action man are going to get a C&D through their letter boxes...

At a glance - not too distant of a relative to the new SM flyer. Still, some of their terrain items aren't too bad. Take a look for Mage Gothic and Syberclicks items - as well as some of the other terrain bits which come in the boxed sets (think they have one which is a secret bunker or some such that has some nice bulk heads and doors).
Anywho, friend ended up picking up a bunch of their stuff and a lot of it would work rather nicely for 40K terrain (comes with skulls and stuff already in place on some of them).
