    Tzeentch Loyalist's Little Chaos Blog.

For the past couple of weeks I have been working on My Chaos Marines. I run a Thousand Sons army and I have recently added 2 Rhinos, a Vindicator, and 5 new terminators to my list. I plan on painting the Terminators within the year and have already finished the champion of the unit. I still have to paint 2 more raptors and the Sorcerer Lord. With my Thousand Sons, I have participated in 2 apocolypse games and my team won both games. The last tournament i entered with them I lost the first game, tied the second, and won the last. I'm going to continue to paint my chaos marines and add the finished products to this blog as well as my Chaos Daemons army that I'm building. I plan to use my Daemons for both fantasy and 40k, so they will be on square bases, except for my flamers, they are on round ones. I orginally got them for my chaos marines army back when it was the 3.5 dex. I hope you enjoy.

Here is my daemon prince that I built in 2005. In 2008 I removed him from his disc and built a new base for him. I had this model on the disc posted up on Cool Mini Or Not.

I'm loving your Terminator Champion, looking very formidable!
Did you greenstuff the plate on the front of Rhino no. 2? I really like it, fits very well.

Nice uniform colour scheme, ties in well with the orange on the Daemon Prince.

I don't know whether you should try to tie in the Daemonette with your Thousand Sons colour scheme slightly, to stop it looking like a Chaos Daemons army. Just adding some blue or copper should do the trick.

Keep up the good work, consider me subscribed!

Re: Tzeentch Loyalist's Little Chaos Blog.

The daemonette is not for the Thousand Sons army, she is for my plain old Daemons Army. I already have flamers, horrors, and screamers for my Thousand Sons. I'll get pics of them up tomorrow. The front plate on Rhino 2 is from Forge World. I recently bought the front plate and doors on ebay.
Here is the Chaos Lord on Disc, armed with a Daemon Weapon. The disc was the one my Daemon Prince was on. I built him shortly after the new dex came out. I used Possessed model bits for the legs, arms, and backpack, the helmet is from the fantasy warriors, and the fur is from the fantasy mauraders.

After reading your first post again I see you did mention about your Chaos Daemons army, it's late, please excuse me!

I do like the paint job on the Chaos Lord, especially the spikes on the disc.

Here is my bloodthirster I just started working on. I'm a long way from finishing him, and any comments or critiques are welcome. What I was trying to do is make it look as if his hair was flame. I don't think i quite got it right, but in person, it does not look horrible.

Love the Bloodthirster- the burning hair reminds me of BBQ corn though..
The Slaaneshi Daemon Prince looks excellent, I especially love the work you've done to his spine.

Nice stuff. I like the terminator champ a lot. I am currently doing a Thousand Sons army also. It is slow going though. Thanks for the inspiration!

Re: Tzeentch Loyalist's Little Chaos Blog.

Update: Current project is my Chosen for my Thousand Sons. I wanted five of them to be equiped with either flamers or meltaguns and decided on sorcerer looking figures to represent this. I used the dark angles pack as the base then used various bits from 40k and fantasy to create the look and added green stuff flames around them. The other five in a squad of 10 would be bodyguards assigned to protect them. I plan on painting them soon, time permitting with my final semister of school almost over.

I hope you enjoy and C&C are always welcome.
