Nice stuff man, sure looks as you are steadily improving your painting skills! Love the color on the Privateer Press guy, that green-gold combo is really strong.

Runepriest Ridcully: that is Molik Karn from the Skorne faction. The legs, torso, and head are one piece if I remember correctly. And is your name based off of the Discworld character Mustrum Ridcully?
Basetheruin: Thanks for the kind comments. With the release of GW washes, my painting skills went up drastically. That, or delvin mud is magic in a bottle?

I love Terry Pratchett's discworld series. And I understand about coming up with names. I do want to warn you though, the Karn model is smaller than it looks...

Is it similar to an eldar wraithlord in size? I'd be modifying the feet and entirely redoing the head (think Anubis) So that would add a bit of height, and would also add a cloak to further the sense of size.

Molik Karn is smaller than a wraithlord. He is closer to the current Avatar in size.

Nice, I wish they had done metal daemon prince models for each for each of the gods like that one based on/an adaptation of the generic Daemon prince model. Really nice painting, though possibly whiten/pale up the flesh for more of a contrast with the armour? Nice wayhough. of doing the muscles t

all the suggestions I had for you evaporated at the bottom of page 2, well improved. For the Thousand Sons, I'd suggest you go back over them and just pick out some of the details. Ie. the Rhinos have a perfect paint job for an upgrade. The thousand sons look like you only had 2-3 colours available, and some skull white to mix and highlight with. Hit those gents with a couple more colours, and pick out some details, and they'll look good.

    everything else looks great.

on the photos, try and get a couple of lights to shine, rather than using the flash on your camera.

Thanks Beppo, I appreciate your comments. Eventually I will get back to the Thousand sons to fix their paint job. Those were painted before I started using washes and highlighting techniques. I always had trouble with getting lighting right for my pictures. My father-in-law will be in town in a couple of weeks and he his an amazing amateur photographer. I'm hoping he will give me some tips for lighting.

It was a horrible model for mold lines, on the plague marine. yet another reason I hate metal models...
