Just started orks and was thinking about bad moons myself.

You have just sold me on them!

Came on tonight to find a decent bad moonz paint scheme and here it is! consider these techniques stolen (if that's ok that is...)

I'm a big fan of the berets you've made [must be the bloodaxe in me]. May I ask where you got the tiny glyphs you've used as beret badges? they're toiny!!

Thanks man! Yeah, IMO, Iyanden Darksun is more dark and gritty so it works well with all the rust and metallics on my mini's.

They're actually they glyphs from sluggas and shootas, carefully removed with a hobby knife. Hope this helps!

I love this log, awesome, awesome work here. I always loved Bad Moons and almost made my Orks bad moons but alas I went with an alternate Deff Skulls scheme.

Well, I'm currently working on some fantasy stuff, but I haven't forgotten my Orks! I'm going to repaint most of my old Goffs' and buy a new set of good ol' biker boyz so watch this space!

I'm also thinking about buying this Mantic buggy, would it fit GW's Orks scale-wise?

I haven't seen any of Mantic's stuff up close but I've heard it isn't in heroic scale like GW stuff is. But as I said, I can only say what I've heard.

I never used to like yellow on orks but yours and a few other grubby realistic bad moons have converted me, awesome stuff.

Fur the boxy tank turret might I suggest adding some pipes, vents, glyphs and gubbinz to the top? It looks to bare
