Thanks 3vilX, i'm currently at a dead end modelling wise, i've moved most of my stuff back home, so all I have is a box of Warmachine stuff and some odds and sods in my GW carry case, so if I do make any progress, it'll be slow, not that I don't have any crazy ideas floating around my head on what to do with my Skaven. The other reason is that until monday, i'll be going round London whilst its still affordable, hanging around with mates who will soon scatter all around the country and doing laps in the local Swimming Pool whilst I can get to the Gym. The Raider Captain is undercoated and dusted now, I added some hair and cheated by adding a greeenstuff cast of the Sea Witch's pistol to her back and added a sash/belt thing to keep it attatched to her. I also made a crack on the Sea Witch, the outline of the other half of her cloak/dress has been made and the first half has been finished. I've also finished a Dreadnought and continued to convert the Slayer, the carapace is now one smooth half and another smooth half on top, whilst starting to convert a third.

I love the converts from fantasy hangunners, the GS work is top notch, and looks like you can duplicate quite a lot of them.

The Saint conversion is a brilliant idea as well, never thought of making her stand like that.

Aah! Sorry, just saw this. There will be updates sometime in the future, namely my Terminus conversion, WIP Chaos Warriors and hopefully some Dark Eldar.

As explained in my Dark Eldar plog, the pic quality is ****poor. Here is my WIP Terminus for my Cryx army:




I wasn't too keen on the original Terminus model, it was too hunched over with a huge head compared to its body. I wanted to make something more like the artwork in the Cryx book, huge, menacing and pin headed. Its a fair bit taller than the regular model and the blade of the sword is higher than a Cryx warjack.

Right, I have mor pictures of my Cryx coming as well as one of my Rackham PPPs that I started working on. I should be able to get more pictures up soon but Photobucket is playing up.




First up is the Grand Crane, one of Rackham's PPP miniatures from their RAM starter set. Its not a bad sculpt, the cloak did break which led to some ham-fisted sculpting in an attempt to fix it. The skin is Dhneb stone and one of the foundation greys built up with washes and highlights.

I'll edit more pictures in, as I mentioned earlier, photobucket is crashing constantly.

NB: The Missile Launcher still needs some greenstuff work.

Some of the cables are at dodgy angles, but i'll be sculpting some housing for them. Eventually. Honest.

Next up is some WIP shots of my Chaos army, formerly from the ToFP. I had to drop out because looking for a job is taking up a fair bit of time, if only it was, y'know, getting me a job. Nevermind.



This is my first Dragon Ogre, I have another two in the works. I was inspired to make these guys after writing a lengthy (1,800+ words) on them in the Fantasy section. They will have armour plates on one of their arms and slightly draconic heads.

This is my Chaos Sorcerer. He did have a larger sword, but after I started sculpting a miniature daemon onto his shoulder, a subtle knife seemed more fitting.

Now some Cryx:



This is the new Cryx character jack called Malice. Well, the netal bits haven't been released yet, so I wanted to get the body out of the way first. I wasn't impressed by the add on metal parts making a jack a character, so I decided to convert him to fit in with the Nightmare jack. This was done in July-August to take my mind off of revision for my retakes (which I passed). There are two jack carapaces in there to give the segmented look the Nightmare has and the magical claw (exactly the same statswise to a slayer's claw) uses Reaper tusks for the talons, it just looks unique and a helluvalot more meaner. He is also more upright although miniature height isn't taken into account in Warmachine. The back needs alot of work, I need a spare Deathjack backvent to finish it off, which means i'll have to order it from the PP store when I get some money.


A size comparison of a regular Slayer to my Malice and my Terminus conversion. The Slayer may look like it hasn't been painted since I posted the first pic in July and you'd be right .



a PIP of my converted Satyxis captain. I put alot of effort into painting her and you can't ruddy see it. The skin has had 8-9 layers put into it.

That Chaos Sorcerer is brilliant the pose is perfect. I agree the dagger would suit it more than a sword.
