What a fantastic and original plog! Somebody's already said it but the way you have elevated the walkways really adds another dimension to it.
By the looks of the pics the set works really well in normal 40k games as well as Space Hulk.
Now....... PAINT!![]()
RIP Slippery Jim DiGriz
I may paint a section this weekend, just to try out a scheme I'm considering.
I had the chance to see the Forgeworld anphelion base at Games Day this year and it's so small! My sections are around twice the size of a Forgeworld section. by using the CoD floor tiles, it really has made the board a formidable size.
If I do get painting this weekend, I'll post some pics. I'll warn you in advance that my painting is rubbish!
Where in the UK are you Nedius - this project is amazing!
rev
Cambridgeshire - Cambridge, actually!
No way?! I just moved down from there about a year ago - I'm too late!! Bummer!
This is fantastic! I want one![]()
This is really good to see, and very inspiring. Good work on the details to reduce similarity throughout the sections.
Frekin' unbelievable..
This goes on my "check frequently" list!!
Very, very nice!! If I had the money and the room, that's what I'll be making.

I'm also looking forward to seeing this Fortress of Redemption... I'd like to see how I can use that to make some interesting board sections. The tower would be good as a roof piece, the gun and fire platforms interesting dead ends. Hopefully I'll get to see it soon!
Only just found this thread. The board is looking good, I might have to pop down one day when your about and see it in person. Painting all those details is going to be a pain though lol.
You could use the Fortress of redemption as a temple\interior check point as space hulks are so vast they could possibly have massive cavern like rooms with fortress checkpoints and temples in them. (well I like to think so anyway)
I'm hoping to see the size of it first... I want to check it will fit with the hight of the rest of the board. But thanks for the suggestion! Hope to be able to get some more pics soon - even if only of the new decorated sections I've done.
The tutorials are excellent, thanks for that extra effort.
Aside from the Carnifex (ho ho!), I would put a box or more pipes to one side ot the vertical pipes you already have - something to make it more asymmetrical.
I loved your detailing of the inspection panel with only one bolt, which shows detail under it, so perhaps a hole in one of the floor plates (bent upwards?), although it looks glued down and this would be a right pain to do.
Wow.

This is an amazing project, and one which makes me wish I had unlimited free time so I could build my own set
Everything looks fantastic so far, but I fear it'll be a royal pain to paint with everything already stuck down - hopefully you can still lever the pieces apart without much damage so you can get at the fiddly bits.
This whole thing gives me a REAL amazing feeling... in my pants! lol
Seriously this is a massive massive investment of Bitz, Reminds me of why I squirrel away every lovely piece of riff raff I come across.
Great work, definitely subscribed and eagerly awaiting more
Cheers,

Holy ****!
Another awesome space hulk table! it already looks so awesome without paint!
add paint to it and it will look...dare I say...perfect?

Order of the Winter Rose: 1500pts Sisters of battle
The Hell Korps: 2000pts Death Korps of Krieg
This is bloody amazing, and seems to be really popular at your local GW - where is your local GW by the way, you seem to have quite a lot of gaming space! The kid with the black hair certainly seems to be a fan!
This is absaloutley amazing! I was thinking of maing my own space station type thing with interior and what not. Would i be able to get some tips on how you made this phenomenal piece?
By the way the station i was thinking of making, or partly maing is the peragus facility for nights of the old republic 2, and yes i am totally mad about knights of the old republic 2 and need to be restrained......i have a problem.....![]()
