The finishing of my Eldar Army

This weekend Krudush came to town and we hade a hobby weekend.

We assembled 50 Servent of Decay on saturday and hade a test game with his 1750 Nurgle renegade army. The eldar came out victorius, but the thing with the game was to try the renegade list out. Some small changes and I think it can be a very fun and difficult team to beat.

Behind the woods my striking scorpions get beaten up by zombies (do not underestimate)


On sunday when giving the renagades a basecoat of black we assembled the third Wraithlord.

We think it came out with lots of attitude,

I have use magnitised weapons and arms to give my Wrathlords some flexibilty

The first wraithlord, sword and all wapon options


The second wraithlord, shuriken cannon and scatterlaser, can have a wraithsword but then he do not have WYSIWYG


And the third Wraithlord, all weapon options but not all combinations possible due to left and right hand choises

Now it is time to paint, however this seem to be not in the near future unfortenately. I will try my best to paint and update...

I have to say, the "standard" wraithlord gives a rather bleak impression next to his brethren. Of course, if they were all cool looking, then none of them would stand out, then cool would be "standard"...

The Renegades will be back some day with a bunch of chem mortars, just you wait...

Finaly I am back at the paintingtable

I like to thank you all for the nice feedback on the Wraithlords. Today I put some sand on the bases, next stop is the base coat.

Today I work with one of the Autarchs, my camera is out of town and my mobile and computer only agreed to comunicate regarding the backside of the figure so here it is



Do not show all of the figure but at least that it is out of the box

Great work so far! I'm really liking the blue/black/white color scheme. The "mandiblaster flamers" on the Wraithlords are a nice touch also.

Today I finished some of the figures in the HQ section and since the weather was nice I took the photos outside. In my oppinion this light gives the figures the right touch.

I got some feedback regarding Eldrar, so today I gave him an update, hope this brings this figure more justice.

Also I got some feedback regarding the rims of the bases, to give them a brown stile. I finished of with chardon granite. So now all the 1xx figs will have new rims.

Yes, Eldrad is looking sharper time. And the swooping hawk autarch is absolutely adorable. But one can't help thinking, where is the jet bike mounted autarch who will accompany the shining spears? One truly wonders...

The Hawk Autarch came out really nice, he was also the finisher.

Regarding the Jetbike Autarch his in the box, and will be there for a while since there are some other guys picking at me at the moment...
